Our Booking Policy outlines our Cancellation and Postponement Policy and Payment Policy for each trip, determined by our Local Destination Experts.

Our Booking Policy outlines the Cancellation and Postponement Policy for each trip, which is defined by our Local Destination Experts based on the specific requirements of the itinerary.

The Payment Policy is automatically determined based on the booking policy. It is important to note that it is your responsibility to review and understand the Baboo policy for your trip, whether it is Flexible, Standard, or Strict.

We encourage you to review the terms and conditions of each quote carefully to ensure that you are fully aware of the policies and procedures related to your booking.

I. Postponement Terms

In the case of postponement of a trip, baboo will apply the following fees depending on the “Booking Terms & Conditions” chosen by the Local Destination Experts, as per below:

  1. FLEXIBLE: When you request a postponement 30 or more days prior to the start of the trip, no extra fee will be applied. When is requested less than 29 days before the trip starts, you will lose the deposit.

  2. STANDARD: When you request a postponement 60 or more days before the start of the trip, no extra fee will be applied. When is requested between 30 and 59 days before the start of the trip, you lose the deposit. You are not allowed to request postponement less than 29 days before the start of the trip. If such is the case, you must go on the trip, according to the original terms and dates on which it was booked, or you must cancel it, and lose the deposit. In exceptional cases, you may request modifications, but whether or not it will be allowed depends on the Local Destination Expert.

  3. STRICT: When you request a postponement 60 or more days prior to the start of the trip, you lose the deposit. You are not allowed to request postponement less than 59 days before the start of the trip. If such is the case, you must go on the trip, according to the original terms and dates on which it was booked, or you must cancel it, and lose the deposit. In exceptional cases, you may request modifications, but whether or not it will be allowed depends on the Local Destination Expert.

II. Cancellation Terms

In the case of cancellation of a trip, baboo will apply the following fees, according to the “Booking Terms & Conditions” chosen by the Baboo, as per below:

  1. FLEXIBLE: When you request cancellation 30 or more days prior to the start of the trip, you shall be able to request and receive a full refund. When the request for cancellation happens less than 29 days prior to the start of the trip, you will only be able to obtain a refund of 70% of the trip price.

  2. STANDARD: When you request cancellation 60 or more days prior to the start of the trip, you shall be able to request and receive a full refund. When cancellation happens between 30 and 59 days prior to the start of the trip, you will be able to obtain a refund of 50% of the trip price. When cancellation is requested less than 29 days prior to the start of the trip, you will not be able to obtain any refund whatsoever.

  3. STRICT: When you request the cancellation of a trip at any moment prior to the start of it, you will not be able to obtain any refund whatsoever.

III. Payment Terms

You shall pay the Seller according to the terms set forth in a Trip Reservation. According to the operator’s Booking Terms & Conditions – Cancellation Terms’ chosen, you will pay a balance set by your Local Destination Expert of between 20 and 50%, and the remaining balance will be paid as follows:

  1. FLEXIBLE: all payments must be made 30 days prior to the beginning of the trip, at the latest.

  2. STANDARD: all payments must be made 60 days prior to the beginning of the trip, at the latest.

  3. STRICT: all payments must be made 60 days prior to the beginning of the trip, at the latest.

In case the reservation is made after the Payment Balance is due, full payment will be requested at the time of booking.
