An expert guide will accompany you cycling the northern neighborhoods of the capital city. Early in the morning, a private transfer will pick you up in front of your hotel, and drive you to Buenos Aires countryside, the legendary “Pampa”!. Arrival at the small and peaceful town of Carlos Keen, you will be greeted with a “mate” (typical local infusion) Then you will go to the stable where the horses are and see how a horse is saddled in the style of the Pampa to later leave for two hours on horseback. Pick you up at the Estancia around 9 am and transfer to San Antonio de Areco, home of gaucho traditions. Your guide will receive you in this charming town, known as “the rural traditions capital”. He will take you on a tour to discover the picturesque streets of the historic center, the San Antonio de Padua church, ancient pulperías, century-old gaucho bars, the renowned Draghi silversmith’s museum and local craftsmen’s workshops of the town. You will have a well-deserved traditional lunch in town. In the afternoon, your guide will invite you on a short walk to discover the Old Bridge (emblem of San Antonio de Areco), the Areco River, and the famous Gauchesco Ricardo Güiraldes museum. Around 4 pm, we’ll take you back to the Estancia. Your time at the estancia includes activities, dinner, and an overnight stay.

You’ll have breakfast then enjoy a leisurely morning at the Estancia to do what you like. If you wish, the Estancia’s gauchos will accompany you on a scenic horseback or carriage ride through fields and herds of cows. For lunch, you’ll enjoy a delicious “Asado”, under the shade of ancient trees. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to watch an impressive equestrian demonstration performed by Argentine cowboys, and if you feel like it, you’ll also be welcome to join in the traditional dances accompanied by “guitarreada” (Argentinian guitar play).
