Depends on your arrival you will start your discovery of Albania with a visit of the capital, Tirana! Landing in Tirana, at the International Tirana Airport “Mother Theresa”. You will be welcomed by the staff of our agency and accompanied to the hotel where you will be staying the first night. A city since 1614 and the capital of Albania since 1920, Tirana is the country's main cultural hub. You will be able to discover a city famous for the colorful facades of its buildings and the harmony between the various religions in the country. The visit of the National Museum located on Skanderbeg Square will be a nice introduction to the rich Albanian history! Close to this square, we will be able to see the mosque "Et'hem Bey", which has been preserved even during the communist era for its historical value, the opera, the clock tower and the palace of culture. We will then discover the superb Orthodox Cathedral.

Early departure to the city of Elbasan. The road we will take today is a small asphalt road built during the communist era. Views of endless hills, river valleys and a magnificent view of the Elbasan region are on the menu for this day's cycling tour. We will have a lunch break in the village of Gracen. Then we will continue our descent to Elbasan with a stop to visit the small and beautiful orthodox church of Saint John Vladimir. City tour of Elbasan is scheduled in the afternoon.

After breakfast we will continue our cycling trip to the small town of Gramsh. The road between Elbasan and Gramsh is famous for its beautiful countryside, with cultivated land and small villages. One of the jewels of this region is a beautiful waterfall, the Sotira waterfall, which we will visit. A 1h30 hike is planned to visit this waterfall. Then we will cycle to the small town of Gramsh where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will leave for the town of Korca. We will cycle along the valley of the river Devoll. We will ride along a road that is decorated by olive fields, lakes and small typical villages. In the afternoon we will arrive in the town of Korca. This city is known in Albania as the little Paris or the French speaking city of Albania. Korca is the city of love serenades, we will enjoy the music in the evening.

Today we will leave for the village of Rehova. In this day's cycling we will cross the Korca region, characterized by mountains and fields planted with fruit trees, mainly apples. We will make a short stop to visit a Tumulus (3000-year-old grave) in the village of Kamenica. In the afternoon we will arrive at the village of Rehova. In this village you will have warm moments of exchange and sharing.

Today we will head to the small town of Permet. The scenery on this day is simply incredible. The high mountains combine with the river valleys to create a postcard look. The Vjose river valley is one of the most beautiful in Albania. This river has been called the "blue heart of Europe" as the only river unaffected by human interference for its entire length of 274 km. Then road to Permet. Gliko (candied fruit) tastings are available

Early departure by bike in the direction of Kelcyra Gorge. The Vjosa river will show us its beautiful features today. After 1h30 of cycling we will leave the bikes and take a minibus to the ancient city of Apollonia. This archaeological site is one of the most important in Albania and the most important of all the other Apollonia in the Mediterranean. Then we will drive to Tirana to make the last visits. We will enjoy a last aperitif in the lively district of Bllok.
