Short transfer (10 min) to Ameijoeira, the GR50 starting point right on the border with Spain. This is a diverse walk along Laboreiro valley, passing by medieval bridges, oak forest and clear water streams. The perfect walk to start a walking holiday, always following the GR50. A different stage that connects the Laboreiro valley to the Peneda mountain range. Forest, wild streams, century-old footpaths and at the end the Santuário da Peneda. Overnight in Peneda.

The walk along the Peneda River is quite special. In the “shadow” of the Fraga das Pastorinhas massif, we go up slowly, passing by villages. At the end of the climb, the view is worth all the effort. The descent to Adrão is made by ancient granite paths. Overnight in Lindoso.

Short Morning transfer to Lindoso. Always a special place to visit, with the set of granite granaries and the primitive castle. Leaving the village behind, this will be a day at the mountains, crossing part of Serra Amarela. Mountain landscapes, old shepherd’s shelters and the beautiful Ermida village are some of the day highlights. The landscape starts to change as we approach Germil, the incredible wolf trap will not go unnoticed. Germil is one of our team's favorite villages. From here, terraced mountains surround the small granite villages. Transfer Germil to Ponte da Barca (45 min) and overnight in Campo do Gerês.

This stage links two villages along ancestral paths and trails that local communities used to access the mountain's resources. The route is framed in a mountain environment, covering one of the elevations of the Gerês mountains, marked by the Lamas landmark, at an altitude of 958 meters. Overnight in Vila do Gerês.

Morning Transfer to Fafião (30 min). A stage between villages, with mountain landscapes. Some of the highlights are passing by the beautiful waterfall Rajada, Cabana de Pinhô, Lagoas do Rio Fafião and Fojo do Lobo de Fafião. If the weather allows, swim at the natural lagoons of the Arado River or the Fafião River. Overnight in Fafião.
