Wake up early and enjoy the jeep ride to the vantage point of Mt. Penanjakan and take short hiking into the platform as viewing point where you will see the incredible scene of Mt. Bromo in the foreground with Mt. Semeru. You’ll see the layers of foggy morning over the mountains. After sunrise time you still have time to amble around at the caldera rim of Bromo. Return back to hotel for breakfast then continue for long drive approx. 5-6 hours to Banyuwangi. Arriving late afternoon/early evening.

Meet the driver at early morning in the hotel to experience a memorable trekking to the Ijen Crater in East Java and see the Blue Fire. The top of the volcano at Kawah Ijen is the world's largest body of water filled with hydrochloric acid. Within the 20km caldera complex lays an amazingly blue lake. Finished up the experience in the Ijen, decent to the slope and transfer back to your hotel for breakfast then later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Ketapang harbor for your ferry transfer to your next destination in Ubud located at the central of Bali.

Today is your free day. You can relax at the hotel or take the scheduled activity provided by the hotel.

Your driver will pick you up at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. for a midnight hike on Gunung Batur. Led by your guide and your flashlight, you will climb the 1717 meter high active volcano in time for sunrise. The view of the crater lake and the surrounding volcanoes, slowly illuminated by the rising sun, is a highlight not to be missed. After sunrise you will have a small breakfast before you head back to the foot of the mountain. On the way back, relax in a warm bath at natural hot springs. Then your driver will take you back to your hotel.

After breakfast you will be picked up to go to Kintamani. Once you reach the starting point, the mountain bikes is ready for you. You will start cycling up to the Batur volcano for about 1,200m. After cycling about 3 hours you will reach a small local restaurant overlooking the volcano and lake at the foot of Mount Batur. Enjoy your snacks at the local restaurant while overlooking the mountain top. After getting some rest, get back on your mountain bikes and head downhill through small villages and forests to Gianyar. There will be about 30 km away, you can choose to continue with your mountain bike or by the car that is also provided for you. On the way you will stop at the hidden Krisik waterfall – what a unique experience! Finally, you will be invited by a Balinese family for lunch, before finishing your trip in the afternoon and returning to Ubud, which takes approximately 45 minutes away.

Enjoy last breakfast at the island. Today you’ll be met and transferred back to the airport for your flight home.
