Welcome to South Korea! Upon your arrival, your driver will be waiting for you at the arrival gate with a signboard with you name. Then, you will be transferred to your hotel and after doing the check-in, the rest of the day will be free at leisure.

Our first stop on this walking tour will be Gyeongbokgung Palace, built in 1395 is the Joseon Dynasty royal palace in Seoul that has been restored over the last 200 years. Gyeongbokgung palace is the symbol of Korea and represents its national sovereignty. Gyeongbokgung Place is ranked as the top place in Seoul, South Korea. (Closed on Tuesdays). Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, then, we will visit Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. Our third stop will be Insadong, located in the heart of the city, is an important place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. There is one main road in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys are galleries, traditional restaurants, traditional teahouses, and cafés. To keep the ambience, even international cafés like Starbucks changed their banners from English spelling to Korean Hangeul. Opened in 1964, our next stop is Namdaemun Market, which is the largest traditional market in Korea with shops selling various goods. All products are sold at affordable prices and the stores in this area also function as wholesale markets. Most of the goods are made directly by the store owners. Our last stop will be The Namsan Seoul Tower (N Tower) was the first tower-type tourism spot in Korea. The top of the tower is at almost 480 m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain (243 m) and the tower’s own height (236.7 m), making it one of the tallest towers in the Orient. As of now, it has become one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul.

Today we will visit one of the most interesting sites of the country which is full of history. The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a weapons-free buffer zone between North and South Korea. The area was established on July 27, 1953 when the Armistice Agreement was signed during the Korean War, and includes a 2 kilometer-wide stretch of land on both north and south of the line. The DMZ extends largely from Gyeonggi-do to Gangwon-do, including seven different cities and smaller counties of Paju, Yeoncheon, Cheorwon, Hwacheon, Yanggu, Inje and Goseong. The zone has been protected from human disturbance for more than 6 decades and has unintentionally become a haven for wildlife, making it a popular destination for nature lovers.

Today you will be transferred to the Seoul Station and travel to Gyeongju by KTX. Upon arrival at Shingyeongju Station, please transfer to your hotel (pax own arrangement by taxi). Free at leisure in Gyeongju.

First, we will visit Bulguksa Temple, which is the representative relic of Gyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995. The beauty of the temple itself and the artistic touch of the stone relics are known throughout the world. Next, we will continue with Seokguram, located on Tohamsan Mountain, is the representative stone temple of Korea. The official name of Seokguram, National Treasure No. 24, is Seokguram Seokgul. Designated as World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995, it is an artificial stone temple made of granite. The surrounding areas of Gyeongju might seem a little bit unique to the guests since there are many little mounts everywhere. Nevertheless, these little mounts are tombs and burial places of kings, queens and nobility personages. You will visit this unique tomb complex, the Daereungwon. Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered to be highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated from an ancient tomb. We will finish our tour in The Cheomseongdae Observatory is the oldest astronomic observatory form Asia. The building was constructed with 362 stone bricks that represents the 362 days of a lunar year. Thanks to this observatory, many scholars were able to study the movement of the stars and to predict solar and lunar eclipses. Anapji Pond was built during the 14th year of King Munmu (in power 661-681 AD) of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC-935 AD). In 1974, an excavation project revealed large spherical shapes (measuring 200 meters in diameter and 180 meters in height) which indicated that 3 islands had been located in the pond.

Today, you will be transferred to Busan. Upon arrival, you will embar on a Busan Half-day tour in which you will visit: Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shore line, since most temples in Korea are located in the mountains. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was first built in 1376 by the great Buddhist teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo Dynasty. Nurimaru APEC House. Located on Dongbaekeom Island, which is renowned for its beautiful, natural landscape accented by dense camellia and pine trees. Nurimara APEC House was used as a memorial hall and a prestigious international conference hall since the APEC summit meeting. Nurimaru, a 3-story building, is a modernistic expression of jeongja, a pavilion in traditional Korean architectural style. Its roof shape symbolizes the ridgeline of Dongbaekseom Island. Its interior design is a visual display of Korea's creative traditional culture. Haeundae Beach in Busan is famous both in Korea and abroad. Not only is it popular as the largest summer vacation spot, but it also attracts people even in the spring, autumn and winter for its variety of festivals and events, such as the Busan International Film Festival, the International Yacht Race and the Haeundae Sunrise Festival. These festivals help keep Haeundae busy as a popular tourist site all year round.with Haeundae Beach at its center, Haeundae Special Tourist Zone offers diverse marine leisure activities and fresh seafood. The zone has transformed itself from a typical vacation spot into a destination where one can stay long-term while enjoying leisure activities and cultural events. Today, the zone attracts an increasing number of tourists from around the globe.

Enjoy your last day in Busan visiting these amazing sites of the city: Gamcheon Culture Village is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname of "Machu Picchu of Busan." The many alleys cutting through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents. Jagalchi Market, located on the shoreside road in Busan's Jung-gu, is Korea's largest seafood market, selling both live and dried fish. After the Korean War, the market solidified itself as a fish market. Most of the people who sell fish are women, so the vendors here are called Jagalchi Ajumma, "ajumma" meaning middle-aged or married woman in Korean. This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country. Following the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living, and this was the beginning of the Gukje Market (gukje meaning "international" in Korean). The Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets; each alleyway is crowded with stalls, and it connects to Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets. The market stocks such a wide variety of goods, that you can find almost everything you need right here. Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly at 69 meters above sea level at a height of 120 meters. The top of the tower is modeled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju. Loved by Busan citizens and tourists alike, the tower offers a stunning night view and plenty to see.
