This 10 days trip will take us to the awe-inspiring Simien Mountains and Bale Mountain, the number 4 birding site in Africa as rated by the African Bird Club with more than 300 bird species. Our tour starts from the capital, Addis Ababa, spotting thick-billed raven, White-collared Pigeon, the beautiful Abyssinian Longclaw, and more. Famed for its thrilling landscapes, the lofty Simien Mountain is our next destination during this particular tour. Simien Mountains is home to the endemic Gelada Baboon, Walia Ibex, and Simien Fox. We will encounter the endemic birds such as, Blue-winged Goose, Spot breasted lapwing, Yellow fronted parrot, Abyssinian longclaw, Abyssinian catbird, and Black-headed siskin. Ethiopian Wolf, Mountain Nyala, Bale Monkey, Menelik’s Bushbuck, and Starck’s Hare can also be seen in Bale Mountain. Birding at the Ethiopian Great Rift Valley Lakes is also part of this package.
