As soon as you arrive at the South Plaza Island, a magnificent show will be offered with sea lions, forked-tailed gulls and iguanas that are numerous in this area. This small island, dotted with Opuntia cacti, is covered in a carpet of red succulents. At the edge of one of its cliffs you can see the flight of frigates, puffins, and red-billed phaetons.
In the afternoon, on North Seymour Island, you will have the opportunity to see male frigates courting females with clicks, spikes, tremors, and flapping, exposing their swollen jugular pouches. It is also not uncommon to see blue-footed boobies displaying their unusual feet while dancing in front of a female. The sea lions crashing through the waves and the view of Daphne Island will add even more to your scale.
