Why should travelers choose you above other local in-destination experts?

I came to live in the Alentejo when I was 10. I fell in love with this region the same day we moved in. I was brought up taking care of visitors and have done so all my life. This is my mission in life.

What type of traveler appreciates your adventures?

As long as I am outside and active, I am happy, so I love it when guests want to explore our region through diverse activities. Kayaking in Arrábida, biking from our farm and hiking the world class trek of the vicentina coast make a perfect holiday.

What is one of your favorite experiences which you’ve been able to build for guests?

Soft adventure. Looking for authenticity, come stay at our farm, you will meet all, from the person who designed your trip to the one who took your money and the mechanic of your bike! What matters is to immerse yourself in what you chose to do.

Share the one travel experience that you will never forget

I will never forget my attempt to climb the Himlung, a 7000 mts mountain in Nepal. It was in the middle of the COVID crisis, which meant the mountain was empty and virgin. No people, no trace, no footprints. Nowadays, this is an immense privilege!
