Day 2

place Full Day Tour of the Cape Peninsula

After breakfast you will be collected for a private full day scenic Peninsula tour. Drink in the Cape Town’s magnificent coastline, fynbos-covered mountains and indigenous wildlife on this scenic adventure. Climb the iconic lighthouse at Cape Point, get up close and personal with penguins at Boulder’s Beach and admire rare plants at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

place Half Day Tour of the city and Table Mountain

After breakfast you will be collected for a private half day City & Table Mountain tour. Enjoy breath-taking views from the cable car and the summit of one of the seven natural wonders of the world: Table Mountain. Be moved by Cape Town’s colourful past when you visit historic landmarks such as the Malay Quarter and the Castle of Good Hope.

Day 4

place Cape Town to Greater Kruger Park, Shindzela Tented Safari Camp

After breakfast you will be collected and transferred to Cape Town International Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve where you will spend (3) nights at Shindzela Safari Camp on a full board basis including activities as per includes (Safari Tent).

Day 5

place On Safari at Shindzela Tented Safari Camp

Enjoy twice daily guided safari activities at Shindzela Tented Safari Camp. These take place in the early morning and again in the late afternoon - early evening, when the weather is more agreeable and the wildlife are more on the move to feed & water. Located in the Mpumalanga Province, the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve shares a fenceless border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This magnificent 60 000 hectare reserve is best known for its two very rare white lions discovered here in the 1970s, which gave this destination its name. Meaning 'the place where something sacred came down to earth from the heavens', the park lives up to the hype with its enthralling African savannah, abundant wildlife, and friendly people. Visitors have the opportunity to see 40 mammal species, 360 bird species and the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo). Enjoy a wide array of activities including daytime safaris, guided night game drives, bush walks, and excellent bird watching

Day 6

place On Safari at Shindzela Tented Safari Camp

Enjoy another full day at Shindzela with twice daily guided safaris. Shindzela, named after the honey badger in the Shangaan language, is an unfenced tented camp within the world-renowned Timbavati Private Game Reserve forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa. The safari style tents are situated under thatch (grass roof) structures and can be made up in either twin or double-bedded accommodation. Enjoy your morning coffee on your wooden deck or freshen up in your semi open en-suite bathroom (shower, W.C. and hand-basin)

Day 7

place Shindzela to Johannesburg

This morning after you safari & breakfast you will be transferred to Hoespruit where you will board your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to African Rock Hotel (located very close to the OR Tambo International Airport), and overnight here on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis in a luxury suite.

Day 8

place Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

This morning you will be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport, and board your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you will spend 01 nights on a bed and breakfast basis in a waterhole facing room. In the afternoon you will be collected for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River including drinks (beer and wine) and light snacks. Transfer to the jetty for a cruise along the Upper Zambezi in the late afternoon. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Zambezi River in relaxation, with local wines, beers, soft drinks and snacks served during the trip. This trip often offers a magnificent chance to witness a spectacular African sunset as well as wildlife such as hippo and crocodile. Cruise back to the jetty for transfer back to the hotel after sunset.

Day 9

place Victoria Falls to Zambezi Queen Houseboat, Chobe River, Namibia

After breakfast depart on a guided tour of the Victoria Falls itself. First stop is the Big Tree - a massive baobab many hundreds of years old with a girth of some 22 meters. The tour continues on to the falls, starting at Livingstone’s statue and Devil’s Cataract and proceeding through the rainforest to Danger Point. The total walk is 3kms with many spectacular view points along the way. Raincoats are available for hire at additional cost. PLEASE NOTE: The falls are fullest in about June and lowest in about November due to the rains that fall. After your tour you will be transferred across the border into northern Botswana to the town of Kasane on the Chobe River. Here you will be assisted through customs into Namibia. (Please wear comfortable shoes, as there is a short walk to the immigration office). From immigration you will be assisted onto a motorboat for the scenic boat transfer to the Zambezi Queen Houseboat, which you board and check in for (2) nights on the on a fully inclusive basis as per includes (Master Suite). If you arrive with the 13:00 and 14:00 transfers, you’ll be served lunch, while if you’re transferred at 15:00 or 16:00 you’ll be served a selection of snacks. . Once all our guests have boarded in the late afternoon, and if the weather permits, we’ll go in search of some big game. This is the perfect time of day to make the most of that golden glow of the African sunset by getting some iconic shots of the animals as they gravitate towards the river before night falls. After the sunset cruise return back on board and freshen up before meeting your Captain on the upper deck. After a safety briefing, you’ll make your way to the dining room where you’ll be served a delicious three-course plated dinner along with an excellent choice of wines. Finish off with a hot drink or nightcap at the bar before retiring to the night sounds of Africa in the distance.

place Full Day to enjoy the activities from Zambezi Queen Houseboat

We know that some guests like to watch the sunrise as they sip on their coffee while others like to take a more leisurely approach. That’s why we let you choose your morning activities, depending on the type of holiday you’re searching for. Perhaps you want to enjoy a water-based safari or a village tour on the Namibian side of the river Or perhaps you’d prefer a spot of bird watching or fishing instead? You may even decide to simply remain on board as the luxurious Zambezi Queen glides its way along the banks of the Chobe River. After your morning activities, enjoy lunch on board while using your unique vantage point to spot wild animals and drink in the expansive views. Join our guide in the afternoon for a water-based safari on a tender boat where you can get up close to an array of wildlife, including some of the 120 000 elephants for which the Chobe is well known. After a delicious dinner, settle down for a restful and tranquil night in your luxurious suite.

Day 11

place Zambezi Queen to Camp Okavango, Botswana

Enjoy a morning cruise during breakfast as you do your last bit of animal spotting and take some memorable pictures. Bid our crew a reluctant farewell and then make your way via tender boat to the Namibian Immigration Office. Once you’ve had your documents stamped you’ll be transferred via tender boat to the Kasane Immigration Office, where you’ll have your documents stamped once again before entering Botswana. After clearing back into Botswana you will be transferred by road to Kasane Airport where you board your light aircraft for the air transfer over the breathtaking Okavango Delta. You land at Camp Okavango, and its here you will spend 03 nights on a fully inclusive basis as per includes (Luxury Tent).

Day 12

place On Safari at Camp Okavango

Water-based activities are conducted by experienced professional guides. These take the form of a silent glide in a traditional makoro (dugout canoe) through the miriad of water ways. Alternatively enjoy a fishiing excursion on a motorized boat, or a guided walk on one of the lush wooded islands. Camp Okavango, a unique and exclusive African safari camp is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island. This hidden treasure, in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assures its guests of an unparalleled year-round water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango’s main area comprises of a network of interconnected walkways linking up two lounge areas, a dining room, library, self-service bar and curio shop. Sweeping ramps lead to the lower level deck with two open-air fire pits and comfortable seating areas to relax and take in the natural surroundings. There is a third deck with a rim flow swimming pool and thatched lounge deck for those warm summer days. With its open air design and elevated position, the new Camp Okavango is an eco-sensitive lodge which captures the very essence of the Okavango Delta. To ensure a peaceful and genuine safari experience, Camp Okavango accommodates just twenty-four guests. There are eleven intimate Safari suites and one Family suite consisting of two bedrooms and each with an en-suite bathroom. Each of the guest suites have been built on individual raised wooden platforms and set beneath the thick Okavango Delta vegetation. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanities, double shower and a separate water closet (with a view). Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife. The Okavango Delta stretches over an impressive15000 square kilometres. Visitors can enjoy a number of wonderful activities such as game viewing, fishing, bird watching or taking an authentic guided Mokoro excursion through this wetland paradise in a traditional dugout canoe. Commonly spotted animals include: lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.
