Meet your driver at Ezeiza International Airport - transfer to Buenos Aires in a private vehicle. Transfer with an English-speaking guide. Visit Buenos Aires (4 hours, walking tour). Today, discover the political and historical centre of the capital. Start with the 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the world, dominated by the Obelisk, a symbol of Buenos Aires. You will pass the Colon Theatre, one of the jewels of the Argentine architecture, before arriving on the Capital main square, Plaza de Mayo. Your tour then takes you to San Telmo: this historical neighbourhood is a dynamic mix of tourists and locals: picturesque alleyways, old typical cafés, antique shops... This lively barrio is animated day and night - a famous flea market takes place every sunday around Dorrego square. End your visit with the picturesque neighborhood of La Boca, with its small alley of El Caminito : painters, tango dancers and singers meet between the ancient colourful wooden houses. City tour in Buenos Aires - fly to Mendoza at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range
Visit Buenos Aires (4h, private walking tour) Guided tour of the Recoleta neighbourhood, characterized by many colonial houses, currently inhabited by powerful Argentine families. Enter the luxurious Pacifico Shopping Center with its typical 1889 French architecture with vaulted ceilings. This stunning place is a locals' favourite. Visit the Recoleta Cemetery, where many celebrities, writers and politicians rest. The most famous and revered even today is the tomb of Evita Peron, the legendary wife of President Peron. Continue your visit in the Palermo neighbourhood, with leafy streets, small eateries and little shops, and take a stroll in the Tres de Febrero park inaugurated in 1875, the largest green area of the city. Hiking Day in the Andes before a cooking class at your hotel
Discover the Andes and its beautiful landscapes with this easy walk in nature. Shared group excursion with a local English and Spanish speaking guide. Trek in the morning on mountain trails - according to the weather, you will be rewarded with a waterfall or a panoramic view from a peak. Free time in nature in the afternoon to further explore and enjoy the landscapes. According to the place, you might book some navigation or kayaking on site. Return to Mendoza around 18h30 Note: bring a picnic or let us know if you would like us to arrange it on your behalf. Difficulty: Easy. According to the day and weather, you will visit the Cascada de la Quebrada (30min easy walk - longer 2h walk available) or the Cerro Cocodrilo (2km total, aprox. 1h). Empanadas Cooking Class How about cooking Argentinean empanadas and enjoying Argentinean meat at sunset in the middle of the vineyards? Put on your apron to start preparing these Argentinean specialties: empanadas mendocinas, carne con salsa chimichurri, etc. This friendly moment will allow you to get acquainted with the local products, a few anecdotes and soak up the Argentine culture. Visit Iguazu National Park on the Argentina side
Your guide picks you up at your hotel to visit the Iguazu Falls, 18km from the city of Puerto Iguazu, on the Argentine side. Private service with an English-speaking guide. The Iguazu Falls were caused by a 70 meters drop of the Iguazu river, which created as many as 275 falls. Start your tour by the upper path of the falls which offers many panoramic viewpoints. Continue on the lower path which allows you to observe the Dos Hermanas Falls, and San Martín Island. Lunch included at a restaurant on the Argentinian side (La Selva or El Fortin) - drinks not included. After lunch, continue your discovery by the "Garganta del Diablo" path, which face the "Devil's Throat". This powerful fall, 150 m long and 80 meters high, is shrouded in a dense mist. Departure to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls in a private vehicle with an English-speaking guide. The 1,200 meters path takes the visitor along footbridges and viewing decks to admire the minor Floriano and Teodoro Da Fonseca falls before reaching the Santa María Falls: take in the breath-taking panoramic view over San Martín Island and the entirety of the falls. Go back to your favourite places - explore the picturesque small shops of Palermo and Recoleta, visit the natural history museum, sip a fernet coca while watching the tango dancers on the Dorrego Square in San Telmo, buy some local handcrafted souvenirs (leather, silver, mate, knitten and handwoven fabrics)... Browse through literature in the spectacular Ateneo Splendid bookshop (address: Santa Fe 1860) or embark on a Rio de la Plata navigation in Puerto Madero. Be Porteño for a day! Night at the milonga, ballroom for tango aficionados. Step into the intimate atmosphere of the milonga to observe the tango etiquette at ease while sipping champagne: men cross eyes with seated women to invite them. A small nod means yes, and dancers then meet directly on the floor. The atmosphere is warm and lively at the tables, between visitors and regulars. Note : the exact time and place of the milonga may vary depending on the day - some start at 7pm, others at 11pm, and a few continue till dawn, ending with hot coffee and fresh croissants!
