Today you will arrive in the fantastic city of Chicago! Chicago, also known as "The Windy City", is the third most populous city in the United States and the biggest city in Illinois. The city is known for being located at the beautiful Lake Michigan, its delicious food, the bridges that open up, the many museums and the architecture of the buildings, such as Marina City and the Sears Tower. After arriving at the airport, take a taxi or an Uber to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore your surroundings after checking in. In the evening you can have dinner in one of Chicago’s fantastic restaurants and relax at the hotel, so that you can explore the city rested and full of energy tomorrow!

Millennium Park, Art Institute of Chicago and Evening Ideas
Today you will explore this unique city. You can start by visiting the Millennium Park, where you can admire various buildings, sights and the nature. The Cloud Gate, also known as The Bean, is the most famous sculpture in Millennium Park. The silver colored artwork has the shape of a bean, which gives it the nickname “The Bean”. You can also visit Crown Fountain, Wrigley Square, the Lurie Garden, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion open air theater or any of the other attractions. A must-visit nearby, is the Art Institute of Chicago. This gigantic building dates back to 1893. In 1879, the Art Institute of Chicago was founded and served as a museum and school. The Art Institute of Chicago has been located in the beautiful Beaux-Arts building since 1893. The museum has more than 300,000 works of art and contains several exhibitions of art by world-renowned artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. You can visit the Green Mill to go back in time at this more than a hundred years old lounge bar. Al Capone, a gangster in the 1920s and 1930s, often visited The Green Mill. When the leader of the mob came in, the band played Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, Al Capone's favorite song. Al Capone's favorite seat is still strategically located in The Green Mill, so he could see the front and back entrances. Nowadays The Green Mill is a bar where you can enjoy jazz music or poetry slam. There are also multiple other bars and speakeasies in Chicago. Try to find the hidden entrance of The Violet Hour, where one of the rules is to turn off your phone, so you can fully enjoy this experience with a fantastic drink. Visit Blue Chicago to enjoy live blues music, check out Jazz Showcase to listen to live jazz music or visit Chicago Magic Lounge, a place where your expectations are exceeded!

Navy Pier and Lake Michigan
The next day you can visit the Navy Pier, which is a kilometer-long pier with shops, parks, restaurants, several museums and many more attractions. Here, you can visit the botanical courtyard Crystal Gardens, the Shakespeare Theater, the Chicago Children's Museum or take a ride on the Ferris wheel! After spending some time at the Navy Pier, you can relax at the beautiful Lake Michigan which stretches throughout multiple states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. You can also do a boat tour, where you can enjoy the view of the amazing Skyline of Chicago or explore one of the many beaches such as the North Avenue Beach in Lincoln Park, Oak Street Beach or Ohio Street Beach and relax or swim in the Lake Michigan water. Architecture River Cruise and Shopping on the “Magnificent Mile” and a Show at Second City
Today we recommend you to take an Architecture River Cruise. You can board the boat on Michigan Avenue and the Chicago Riverwalk. On this 75-90-minute cruise, you can admire over 40 sights as the guide tells you more about the architecture of the buildings. The guide will also tell you about the history of the city and the Great Chicago Fire. During the tour you will pass the unique Wrigley Building, Marina City, the Tribune Tower and more. This is a great experience and a fantastic way to explore the famous architecture of Chicago. In addition, Chicago is also well-known for the many moveable bridges in the city. The first moveable bridge in Chicago was built in 1834. Nowadays, Chicago has dozens of moveable bridges, so there are plenty of opportunities to check them out! After your Architecture River Cruise, you can walk up Michigan Avenue for some shopping. On the “Magnificent Mile”, you’ll find more than 450 retailers, from popular brands to luxury labels. There are also major department stores and international and domestic designers and boutiques. Have Fun! In the evening, you can see a show at The Second City, which the world’s premiere comedy club. Opened in 1959, this comedy club featured many famous artists and is still offering the best in Chicago-style sketch and improve comedy every night of the week. This is a fantastic experience! Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture Tour Oak Park
Today we recommend you to do a tour to Oak Park, to visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Home and Studio. Frank Lloyd Wright was a famous American architect who created some of the most innovative spaces in the United States and designed 1,114 architectural works, 532 of which were completed. On this tour you will visit historic Oak Park, which is a suburb of Chicago and has more Wright buildings than anywhere in the world. You will visit his Home and Studio, which served as home and workplace for Wright’s first 20 years of his career. You can also explore the famous Unity Temple. During the tour you will learn about his visionary Prairie Style and you can see how Wright tried out innovative design ideas in his home. Museum of Science and Industry and Chicago Riverwalk
Today you can visit the amazing Museum of Science and Industry, which is definitely worth a visit. This museum opened in 1993 and is one of the largest museums in the world that concerns science. With a huge range of interactive exhibitions, you can learn more about different topics, from the past to the present. Learn about the U505 submarine, take a look at a "working" coal mine, discover what Chicago looked like at the beginning of the 20th century and go to the simulation lab where you can think about the energy future of Chicago. In the evening you can explore the Chicago Riverwalk for a riverside stroll to see the boats passing by and to enjoy the beautiful buildings. Along the way, there are several restaurants and bars, great for a drink and dinner on the last evening!
