This UNSECO World Heritage Site is a kind of living museum that shows the traditional agriculture of Bali. Your driver will pick you up at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. for a midnight hike on Gunung Batur. Led by your guide and your flashlight, you will climb the 1717 meter high active volcano in time for sunrise. The view of the crater lake and the surrounding volcanoes, slowly illuminated by the rising sun, is a highlight not to be missed. After sunrise you will have a small breakfast before you head back to the foot of the mountain. On the way back, relax in a warm bathe at natural hot springs.
