Depending on your arrival you will start your discovery of Albania with a visit of the capital, Tirana! Landing in Tirana, at the International Tirana Airport “Mother Theresa”. You will be welcomed by the staff and accompanied to the hotel where you will be staying the first night. A city since 1614 and the capital of Albania since 1920, Tirana is the country's main cultural hub. You will be able to discover a city famous for the colorful facades of its buildings and the harmony between the various religions in the country. The visit of the National Museum located on Skanderbeg Square will be a nice introduction to the rich Albanian history! Close to this square, we will be able to see the mosque "Et'hem Bey", which has been preserved even during the communist era for its historical value, the opera, the clock tower and the palace of culture. We will then discover the superb Orthodox Cathedral.

Tirana – Divjaka, 1h30min Divjaka – Tragjas, 2h Today we will discover the National Park of Divjaka. In this National Park, you can have a walk in the forest and also watch rare kinds of pelicans, like the curly pelican, in the Karavasta Lagoon. It is a quiet and nice place with nice landscapes. You may choose to discover the Parc by foot or by bike. Renting bikes on the spot is possible as well. Then we will head towards the old village of Tragjas. The inhabitants of Tragjas resisted German troops strongly during the Second World War. Because of this resistance many men died and the village was burned.

Tragjas – Dukat 5h (hiking) Dukat – Llogara 20 min We will cross this forgotten stone village by foot heading to another village Dukat one of the oldest in the country. This small village is hidden between the peninsula of Karaburun and the National Park of Llogara, after our Picnic there, and a coffee with locals leaving for Llogara.

National Park of Llogara – Bay of Saint Andre, 5h30 of hiking It’s a hiking day! We will leave around 6h30 in the morning (to avoid the heat) towards the Bay of Saint Andre. After 5h30hrs walk, the Ionian Sea will unveil one of the most beautiful creeks of the Albanian Riviera, Bay of Saint Andre. We will camp and spend the night in the Bay of Saint Andre. The beautiful beach of Saint Andre will be at your disposal. The evening has a beautiful atmosphere between fire, grill, jokes and songs.

From the Bay of Saint Andre, we will hike till the Bay of Drimadhes, there we will take the minibus, and we will drive for 30 minutes in the direction of Himara. Explore the turquoise blue water and some of the small creeks. After 4h30 of hike from Bay of Saint Andre to Bay of Drimadhes, we will take the minibus in the direction of Himara. Short transfer by minibus to Himara (15 km, 30 min). Free afternoon in the city of Himara. You may discover the city by walk, or you may drink or eat something by the seaside.

This morning we will take the minibus to the direction of the Bay of Livadh (10min) where we will take the kayaks and here begins the “Kayaking day’ in the direction of the Bay of Ngjipe for 2h30mn. Once arrived at the bay of Livadh, we are going to take kayaks to paddle towards Ngjipe. After a brief instruction on kayaking from our guide, on about 2 hours and half we will explore a part of Albanian Riviera. You shall have the possibility of exploring the magnificent Albanian Riviera. In the afternoon you will have the possibility to explore the Canyon of Ngjipe for about 2 hours. The evening will be passed in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

In the morning the group takes again the kayaks in the towards the Bay of Drimadhes paddling for 2 hours. Departure to the National Park of Llogara. Are you ready to follow the same track as Cesar did, before returning to Rome? This park full of vegetation and well known for its rich flora and fauna is the ideal place to admire the Albanian southern coast. For these reasons we will be hiking for about 4h with an elevation of 300 m. In this way you can also enjoy this place and also admire all the views and the landscapes. Night in a hotel in the National Park.

Llogara – Apolloni 1h 30min Today we will head towards the ancient city of Apollonia. The Roman emperor Gaius Octavius studied in Apollonia of Illyria. The various sights of this town: The Odeon, the Bouleuterion, the promenade, the monumental center, the archeological museum, and to conclude with the orthodox monastery inside the park. All of which will have you immersed in the Antiquity lifestyle. Apolloni – Berat 1h During this day we will visit another site protected by UNESCO, the city of Berat, known for its characteristic architecture. Best known as "The city of 1000 windows" you will be charmed by its white houses and steep streets that offer you a special promenade. During a walk, you will see the Castle, many mosques, the Onufri Museum and the Ethnographic Museum.

Berat –Tirana 1h 40min Today we will drive to the direction of Durrës, one of the oldest cities of the area, formerly called “The Tavern of the Adriatic” as it was from the docks of this city, also an inevitable call of the Mediterranean caravans of the time that starts the Via Egnatia that would link Rome to Constantinople. Then we will drive towards Tirana. City of vivid colors and nightlife. Depending on our arrivals we may continue with some visits left undone the first day. In the evening, we recommend you to enjoy the night-life of the capital in the district of Blok: Once reserved to the communist nomenclature is now a trendy neighborhood and the place where you can have a drink or find a nice restaurant to relax after your last day.
