Mystic Furnas - Canoeing + Bike ride
The activity starts with canoeing at Lagoa das Furnas. In a calm way that invokes the tranquility of the place, the participants will have the opportunity to appreciate all the heritage built in this bucolic place. On the banks of the lagoon, and due to the volcanic activity, the traditional Portuguese Stew is made. The return is made by the central part of the lagoon, to appreciate the surroundings. After lunch in a restaurant in the parish of Furnas, the bike ride follows. It is a circular route (10.5 Kms) that starts in the parish of Furnas and continues until the boiler area of Lagoa das Furnas, following the dirt road that surrounds the lagoon. The highest point of this tour is located in the area of Pico dos Milhos where you can see the parish. The descent is made by secondary paths that lead again to the starting point. After the activity is over, we return to Ponta Delgada by the north coast of the island.
