• Jungle trekking in Bukit Lawang National Park

Note: After breakfast, you will start your day trekking in the jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park where during the trek there will be chances to meet wild Orangutans living in their own natural habitat. Walk around the Leuser National Park where you can also find living many types of flora and fauna as well as enjoying the singing of birds and Siamang, the black gibbon. Finally in the afternoon stop in a place at the edge of a river to build the tent.

• Overnight in A Camping Tent in Bukit Lawang National Park

After a long and tiring trek to see the orangutans and the gibbons in their natural habitat, you will arrive at the campsite in the afternoon. There are tents that are already set up for you and you can enjoy the rest of the day to relax or swim in the river near the campsite whilst the team prepare for snacks and dinner.

• Jungle Trekking in Bukit Lawang National Park

Jungle trekking in Bukit Lawang National Park is a thrilling adventure that allows you to explore the untamed wilderness of one of Indonesia's most biodiverse regions. Note: After breakfast prepared by your guide, continue trekking through the jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park exploring its flora and fauna. Almost at noon time return to the village of Bukit Lawang. After having a little rest you will take the road to Tangkahan by local jeep will take about 3 hours drive.

• Transfer from Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra to Tangkahan, North Sumatra

After the trek, you will have the opportunity to visit a waterfall and go for a river tubing to get back to Bukit Lawang. Then, get transferred to Tangkahan by a jeep. It takes roughly a 2.5- hour drive along a bumpy road through small villages and palm oil plantations. For those who will visit Bukit Lawang from Tangkahan, you will go through the same road as well and enjoy the panorama along the way. 

• Overnight in Tangkahan

Imagine spending a night in the enchanting village of Tangkahan, nestled in the heart of North Sumatra, Indonesia. This overnight experience promises an unforgettable escape into the region's natural wonders. As the sun sets, you'll find yourself immersed in a peaceful ambiance, surrounded by the serene sounds of the rainforest. Spending the night in Tangkahan also allows for engaging in exciting adventure activities. One of the highlights of an overnight stay is the chance to embark on a thrilling elephant trek through the jungle. Accompanied by a trained mahout, you'll ride atop these majestic creatures, traversing through the dense foliage and crossing rivers. The experience allows you to witness the incredible bond between the elephants and their mahouts while immersing yourself in the raw beauty of the rainforest.

• Visit the Elephant Sanctuary

Note: After an early breakfast, you will walk to the elephant camp to meet the Sumatran elephants and you will have the opportunity to wash the elephants and feed them as well. After having washed the elephants, you will try to descend the river with buoys (tubing) with a stop at the superb Buluh falls where you can swim. At noon return to the lodge and then we depart for Medan will take about 4 hours drive more or less.

• Transfer from Tangkahan to Medan

After a wonderful stay in Tangkahan and a playful encounter with the elephants, it is time to continue your journey. Upon check out, you will be picked up and transferred back to Medan on a private air-conditioned vehicle. Once you have arrived in Medan, you will be driven to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your own leisure. For those who have an early morning flight the next day, you may want to rest.

Note: Upon arrival in Medan, transferred directly to Kualanamu Airport and check in to the airport hotel. You can stay in the city centre, however, you will have to leave very early in the morning to catch the morning flight to Yogyakarta. Check out must be done in a timely manner since there is only 1 direct flight connecting the two islands. The hotel is located inside the airport terminal building on the second floor.

• Transfer from Medan to Yogyakarta

Early in the morning, you will have to check out and be ready at the lobby for your transfer to Yogyakarta. Due to the limitation of the direct connection to Yogyakarta, check out and transfer must be done in a timely manner. You will be transported on a private air-conditioned vehicle to Kuala Namu International Airport for your flight out to Yogyakarta.

• Visit Borobudur Temple

Borobudur Temple is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple in Central Java, Indonesia. The temple is considered one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. • Taman Sari Water Palace

Taman Sari Water Castle, also known as the Water Palace, is a historical landmark in Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia. • Prambanan Temple

Prambanan Temple, also known as Loro Jonggrang Temple, is a Hindu temple complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. • Tirta Empul

Note: This is the famous temple for purification, however, since you're travelling in the high season, it will be very crowded. Therefore, I've included the purification in the lesser known temple so that you can truly immerse in the experience :) Here, you can just go for sightseeing.

• Purification Ritual at Pecampuhan Sala Water Temple

The Purification Ritual at Pecampuhan Sala Water Temple in Bali is a sacred and immersive experience steeped in centuries-old traditions. Nestled amidst the lush greenery and terraced rice paddies of Ubud, this water temple holds a significant place in Balinese Hinduism. • Jatiluwih Rice Terrace

Breakfast is served at the hotel. Upon checkout, you will be picked up at the hotel lobby and transferred to Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo (LBJ). Hop on a plane ride to Denpasar, Bali (DPS), and once you have arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, your driver will pick you up at the pickup zone and drive you to your hotel for check-in.
