Day 1

place International Arrival - Lima Airport

Upon your arrival Inca Footsteps representative will be waiting for you at Lima airport, from where you will be transfer in a comfortable ride to your hotel. The rest of the day will be for you to enjoy the city of kings at your leisure.

place Flight from Lima to Cusco

In due time, transfer to Lima Airport to board your next flight destination Cusco.  Max altitude. 10.990ft  Climate: windy and cold  Weather: winter Upon arrival in the Imperial city we will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel where we will have a coca tea that will help you with the acclimatization.

Day 3

place Inkas Sacred Valleys (Chinchero, Salt Mines, Ollantaytambo)

acred Valley Tour start at 8:30 am and head to the high mountain village of Chinchero, famous for its weaving and spectacularly sited at high altitude (3,800m/12,500 ft.) We will visit a weaving house and have a demonstration on dyeing and weaving techniques as well as visiting the famous Chinchero market. From Chinchero, we descend to the base of the Sacred Valley and then onto Moray, which features an impressive set of terraces leading from the top of a natural sinkhole. We have a buffet lunch in Urubamba before heading to the Salt Mines – our final stop for the day. In Maras or the salt mines, we continue to Ollantaytambo. This is a long but rewarding day for those who want to experience the best of the Sacred Valley in a short amount of time.

Day 4

place Full Day to Machu Picchu

We will rise at first light for breakfast, then head to the bus station to take the first buses up to the majestic mountain of Machu Picchu, also known as the “The Crystal City”. We recommend arriving early enough to catch sunrise before receiving a guided tour which last about 2½ hours, followed by free time to explore the site on your own. If booked in advance, we will arrange for you to climb Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu Mountain. We will agree on a time to meet in the afternoon in Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo and then private bus or van back to Cusco.

Day 5

place Rainbow Mountain

We will pick you up between 05:00 hrs. – 05:15 hrs. Then we are going to set out on a drive through the South Valley. The drive takes around 2 hours to get Cusipata District where we are going to stop for breakfast. After that we are going to drive you 1.5 hours more to Quesiuno community (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.), where we are going to start with the trekking of 3 hours approx. long to the rainbow mountain (most of the way is going up). In the way up we are going to be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate Mountain, many red mountains and traditional local houses. When we finally reach our goal the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.), you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depend of the weather conditions and our group conditions). After the amazing view of the landscapes on the top we are going to down to the beginning of our trekking point, that take 2 hours approx. (Quesiuno community) where we are going to take our transportation to Cusipata District to have lunch. Then you are going to be drive to Cusco, and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 6

place Cusco, City Tour

We will start with the pickup of the hotel, for the visits to the Korikancha or Temple of the Sun, one of the first Inca constructions, where you will be able to appreciate the fine work that the Incas carried out on the stone; Continuing with the tour, you will head towards Sacsayhuamán, a fortress with a strategic location, which offers an unparalleled view of the city. You will also appreciate other archaeological complexes such as Kenko, Tambomachay and you will have a panoramic view of the Puca Pucará archaeological complex towards the city of Cusco.

Day 7

place Visit to Pisaq, Tipon, Pre Inka City Pikillacta

Breakfast. We will start our tour by visiting Pisaq. It is made up of groups of archaeological remains, including platforms, aqueducts, paths associated with walls and portals, canalized water channels, cemeteries and bridges. We will continue to the southwest part until we reach Tipón, which is part of the Qapac Ñan route, then we will go to Pikillaqta considered one of the most famous and best-preserved cities in the pre-Inca world in Peru, return to the Hotel.
