Lima City Tour
We will pick you up from your accommodation, and then we will begin our tour visiting Parque Intihutana and enjoy a nice view of the Pacific Ocean, as we drive down the Miraflores Malecon, a road along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. We will begin our tour visiting the modern suburbs of San Isidro and Miraflores. Furthermore, we will then drive and stop for a few minutes at Huaca Pucllana, a pre-inca pyramid shape temple that has survived the expansion of modern civilization. We will see the Olive Grove Park and the Financial Center. We will visit downtown Lima's historical center, designated by Unesco as Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 1991. In this journey we will enjoy what once was the center of the 16th century Spanish colony. We will see the Plaza Mayor, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop`s Palace, the City Hall and the Desamparados Train Station. We will also see Plaza San Martin, a large park surrounded by old colonial buildings still displaying beautiful carved wood balconies and other landmarks. After that we shall visit the San Francisco Monastery and its famous underground crypts known as the Catacombs. At the end of the tour you will have a choice to either shop at the Indian Market, Larcomar Mall or return to your hotel.

Flight to Puerto Maldonado & Boat to Eco-Lodge
Today one of our representative will pick you up at your accommodation and will take you to the airport to catch your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Welcome and reception at the airport. Depending on when you arrive, you might first be transferred to our local office and wait for the rest of the group to arrive before taking the boat transfer (with the purpose of preserving the environment and using fewer amounts of gasoline). There you'll be able to rest, have a snack, coffee and use Wi-Fi internet. Around noon, once the whole group has arrived, you'll transfer to the boat wharf, Port Captain, located 15 min from both the airport and bus terminal. Begin the 1-hour boat ride to your Eco-Lodge while enjoying the wonders of the rainforest. We set off down the Madre de Dios River through the heart of the jungle surrounded by flora, fauna and breathtaking scenery. Arrive at your Eco-Lodge and settle into your private bungalow. Take a short rest before meeting with your guide followed by an introduction walk around the lodge and its trails. Winding past giant Kapok trees, walking palms and strangler figs while being dazzled by the sounds of native birds. Return to your bungalow for a rest. Before dinner, you may choose to take a walk with your guide and experience the jungle as it transforms from day into night making way for nocturnal animals and birds especially adapted for the dark. Return to the dining hall with your guide for your first dinner in the rainforest and enjoy a typical meal from this region. After dinner, you may return to your bungalow or meet with other tourist and share your stories and experiences.

Jungle Walk–Taricaya Reserve
After breakfast begin your adventure with a walk through the jungle through towering trees. We will arrive at our first platforms located 15 and 25 meters high in the branches of an old fig tree. Continue your walk into the Taricaya reserve towards the Canopy platform, the highest tree platform in the Amazon rainforest, 45 meters high and connected by a 90-meter long suspension bridge. Catch a glimpse of flying Macaws, parrots Toucans or the infamous Harpy eagle; the views from this platform are truly unforgettable! Continue into the reserve until we reach the animal rescue center where you will encounter many different wild animals including a jaguar, Puma, toucans, macaws, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, jaguarondi, bush dog, tapirs and more. Stop at the butterfly house before returning to the lodge for lunch. After lunch walk to the Agroforestry farm and visit the reforestation projects of mahogany, cedar, cocoa, coffee and tropical flowers. Visit the Taricaya turtle project and its artificial beaches. Return to the lodge in your own inflatable boat as the sun sets. Take a rest before we finish the day’s activities with a caiman search along the river’s edge in a motorboat under moonlight. End the day with a delicious dinner.

Tambopata National Reserve - Lake Sandoval
Have an early breakfast before traveling by boat upriver for 45 minutes to the entrance of the Tambopata National Reserve and begin the trek to Lake Sandoval. Paddle in a rowboat around the pristine mirror like lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery with the opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife such as the endangered giant river otter, howler monkeys, macaws and black caiman. Take a snack by the waters edge before continuing around the lake. Finishing with a walk back to the river where we board our motorboat and return to the lodge. Lunch and rest. Navigate the Madre de Dios River in your own inflatable boat with the opportunity to see turtles, monkeys, herons and other birds with a beautiful backdrop of the sunset over the river. End the day with a Farewell dinner.

Boat to Puerto Maldonado & Flight to Cuzco
Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before your 8:00am departure and a scenic return boat trip on the Madre de Dios River bringing us back to Puerto Maldonado by 9:30am approx. Depending on your return flight/bus, you can be taken directly to the airport/bus station or dropped off at the office where you can rest, refresh yourself and use the WIFI. If time permits, you have the option of visiting the Puerto Maldonado city center on your own today and exploring a few of the interesting sights of this jungle city by motor taxi at an additional cost. Choose to have lunch in town, take a stroll through the local markets where you will find everything from fish, meat and fruits to local arts and medicines or make your own way up to the Obelisk and admire the scenic view from above. In time for your flight, return to the office to catch your transfer to the airport. Upon arrival to Cuzco one of our representatives will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you to your accommodation. The city itself is the continent’s oldest continuously inhabited city and was the home of the Inca Empire for two centuries before the Spanish built their first capital here. Today, Cuzco is a fascinating combination of both cultures. Take the time to acclimatize to the city’s 3450-metre high (11,150 ft) altitude and explore the many Baroque churches and ancient temples that dot the city.

Market & Cooking Class with a Local
Our Cusco Culinary cooking experience starts at San Pedro Market (at door number 1), with a visit to this historical and traditional local market. We will try some of the most exotic fruits of Peru, the best chocolate, local cheeses, and traditional bread. After that, we will walk to our cooking studio, a traditional house from 1922, that is part of the world heritage Cusco center. We start our cooking classes preparing the national drink of Peru, passion fruit pisco sour. Then, we prepare three traditional Peruvian exquisite dishes and a delicious dessert. Our class is full hands on, and you will take part in all the preparation. After you, we finish we will enjoy all the food, and you will have a great Peruvian meal. Our dishes are easy to be converted into vegetarian, so if you are vegetarian or Vegan this is the perfect class for you. After the class we will also send you the recipes, so then you can share your new talent, as a Peruvian chef, with your family and friends.

Sacred Valley tour & Transfer to Aguas Calientes
Accommodation pick-up at 7:30 am to start off our day. We will travel out of Cuzco towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas and make our first stop at the village of Corao where we will visit a local artisan marketplace. Enjoy 30 minutes of free time to wander around buying handmade souvenirs for family and friends. Enjoy the scenic viewpoints along the panoramic highway that takes us over the mountains into the picturesque Urubamba river valley. Upon arrival in the ancient Inca town of Pisac, our guide will explain the unique architecture of this archaeological site and its magical vibes. Take about 45 minutes to explore the site and shop around in the local marketplace. For lunch, we will continue to Urubamba and make our lunch break here for a taste of Peru’s finest traditional cuisine. After our break, the van will take us to Ollantaytambo, another mysterious archaeological site built into the steep mountainside. You will spend 45 minutes there, which will give you plenty of time to climb the steep steps of these ancient Inca ruins and contemplate life as you look out upon the valley. Then walk over to the train station, located a short 10-minutes on foot downhill from the archaeological site, to board the train heading for Aguas Calientes (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival you will be met by a local guide who will transfer you to your accommodation and give you indications for the following day in Machu Picchu. Wander through the quaint town of Aguas Calientes at your leisure.

Explore Machu Picchu & Return to Cuzco
Take an early bus to Machu Picchu to enter the site as it opens. Your English speaking guide will meet you for a guided visit to the archaeological site (approximately 2 hours). You will then have plenty of free time to explore the hidden corners of this ancient Inca city on your own. You can choose from the optional treks to climb Huayna Picchu (additional cost - to book at least 2 weeks in advance) or walk to the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) for panoramic views of the site. Later, return to Aguas Calientes by bus. Then, take the return train back to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cuzco late in the day at 14:30, 16:12, or 19:00. Upon arrival at Cuzco City Center, you will need to make your own way to your accommodation for the night. Note: You have the option of taking an early return train or a late return train departing Aguas Calientes at 4:12pm and 7pm, respectively.

Depart from Cuzco
At the appropriate time, our driver will pick you up at the hotel and will transfer you to the airport to take your flight back to Lima, followed by your international departure flight. Safe travels ahead!
