Antigua tour departure from Guatemala City with Lunch
We will visit Central Square, also called Plaza de Armas. Around it are its main buildings: the Town Hall, the Cathedral of Santiago (today called San José), the portal of the bakers or trade and the impressive Palacio de los Capitanes Generales and / or Casa de la moneda (today called the Palacio de gobernación). We will visit the old monastery of the Dominican friars, today converted into one of the most exclusive hotels in Central America, Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, we will see the Sanctuary of Brother Pedro (the first Saint of Central America) and visit colonial houses inside, we will see some small towns around Antigua and finish with lunch in some beautiful gardens. We will visit the Jade Museum and store and the handicraft market. In the afternoon we will return to Guatemala City to your hotel.
