Day 1

place Airport Transfer

Welcome to Peru and Lima! Upon arrival, our local staff will welcome you and take you to your hotel in Barranco, where you are free to relax and wander around at your own pace. Depending on your time of arrival, we have plenty of suggestions for you to make the most of your first day in the city. After check-in, we'll hand you your travel kit and have a short briefing to answer any last-minute questions.

Day 2

place Lima Must-sees & Dinner at Larco Museum

Today, you will have the entire morning free to explore the beautiful and Bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, where your hotel is located. Here you can admire examples of Lima's old architecture and visit interesting local galleries such as Las Pallas and Dedalo, walk along the ocean front promenade to the bridge of sighs, or have a look at the Pedro de Osma colonial art’s museum. Then, in the afternoon, we will go on a tour that will take you back in time through the colonial and Pre-Hispanic stages of Lima, the perfect introduction to any trip to Peru. First, we'll head to Lima's historic center to have a look at its imposing architecture and colonial past. We will visit the 16th-Century Santo Domingo Convent and have a look at Lima's main square. From here, we continue to the Larco Museum, probably the best in Peru. The collection exhibited at Larco features the most luxurious gold, silver, and ceramics from ancient Peru. Finally, to end a beautiful first day in Lima, we will have a delicious dinner at the gardens of the Larco Museum restaurant.

Day 3

place Flight to Cusco, the Sacred Valley & Hacienda Sarapampa

Today, after breakfast, we have a short drive to the airport to take our flight to Cusco city. Upon arriving, our local representative will meet and welcome you before heading together towards the Sacred Valley Incas. From Cusco, the journey to our hotel in the valley takes approximately two hours. However, we'll have some exciting stops on route to enjoy this very scenic journey to its fullest. First, we'll stop at Hacienda Sarapampa, a beautiful country manor that has been farming some of the best corn in Cusco for over three generations. We'll be welcomed at this manor house and shown around before settling in for a delicious seven-course private meal at the pleasant patio. After lunch, we can drive to the nearby village of Pisac and visit the traditional market to appreciate many local customs and regional products. Once in our hotel, we can relax and enjoy its facilities for the rest of the day.

Day 4

place Andean Healing Experience in the Sacred Valley

Today, we will be part of a unique and fascinating activity in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Disconnect and feed your spirit with the ancient wisdom of the local people! We will pick you up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley and drive towards Huayllafara, a community of farmers with a great ancient cosmovision and knowledge. Here, we will meet Hilario, a native shaman that has helped many people heal their spirits working with Apu's energy. Hilario will clean your aura with native plants and accompany you through a coca leaf reading ceremony. After breakfast, we'll take part in a magic Ceremony and Offering to Pachamama, the most crucial ceremony among of all Andean rituals. During the celebration, we thank the Mother Earth for feed our body and spirit and protect us in this world. Pachamama will help us put in order all aspects of our lives and achieve an exceptional level of energy, wisdom, and passion. Finally, we will take a flowering bath to top it all off and say good-bye inspired and energized. We'll go back to your hotel, where you can rest and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 5

place Moray Terraces, Lunch at MIL Centro & Maras Salt Mines

This morning, we'll set off on a tour to visit some of the Sacred Valley's most impressive sites. First, we reach Moray, a unique Inca site consisting of circular terraces built upon a natural depression. It seems to have been an agricultural experimental station used to adapt crops to different temperatures. Second, we will drive to Maras, a small town famous for its hundreds of salt ponds dating back to the Incas time. At Maras, we will head to MIL Centro, a new cuisine proposal at 3,568 m (11706 ft) by Virgilio Martinez, the most recognized Peruvian chef in the world. Here, you will savour a gourmet 8-course meal based on the different Andean highlands. After this exciting Peruvian food experience, we will visit the Maras salt-extraction complex, from where locals have been collecting and selling the salt at the markets of the region since before the Inca times. Finally, we will return to our charming boutique hotel in the Sacred Valley, where you will spend the night.

Day 6

place The Sacred Valley Train & Machu Picchu Exploration

After a delicious breakfast, we'll make head to the Urubamba train station from where we'll board the exclusive Sacred Valley train. This elegant train dates back from 1920, and after a complete refurbish, you can now enjoy a fascinating ride among the Andes onboard a classic but luxurious train. Onward the route, we'll be able to appreciate the changing landscape traveling beside the meandering Urubamba River as you taste a delicious 3-course gourmet lunch. The observatory Bar Car, with its big windows and open spaces, will allow you to make the most of your journey to Machu Picchu. Upon arriving, we'll head up to Machu Picchu. We take a 30-minutes bus up the steep zigzagging road to Machu Picchu Citadel, located on an impressive mountain setting. Once here, we’ll find a nice spot overlooking the main site for an initial explanation of Machu Picchu. After, at around 2.30pm, it's the ideal time to take our guided tour around the main areas of the citadel as most travelers should already be leaving at this point. We can tour the site until it closes at around 5.30 pm, time at which we'll head down to the village where we will spend the night. Notes: Be sure to be at the train station 30 minutes before your train departure. Don't forget to bring your passport with you. It will be required when entering Machu Picchu.

place Free morning at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo & Journey to Cusco

This morning, after a long but fun day in Machu Picchu, we can sleep in and have a late breakfast. We have the morning free to use the hotel facilities or join some of the exciting activities available. The activities included are birdwatching, nature walk, orchid trail, and tea house. We also recommend joining the Spectacled Bear Project activity for an additional contribution. Finally, at the coordinated time, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where we will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco city. Notes: Be sure to be at the train station 30 minutes before your train departure.

Day 8

place Cusco Walking City Tour & Sacsayhuaman

Today, we'll embark on a four-hour walking city tour not only through some of the most touristic sites in Cusco, such as the Main Square, Cathedral, and Koricancha Temple. We will also discover ancient streets, local markets, and old neighborhoods to feel the magic of this charming city. We will then head to a beautiful scenic location in Sacsayhuaman to pass your time with a fun artist-led painting session and a great selection of wines. The rest of the day is free for you to wander around by yourself. We'll be more than happy to give you our best recommendations for restaurants, shops, and additional activities in the city.

place Titicaca Train Journey Across the Highlands to Puno & Titilaka Lodge

This morning, we will go to Cusco's train station to board the luxury Titicaca Train towards Puno. This stylish train resembles the famous Pullman trains of the twenties and includes classy dining cars and a car-bar outdoor observatory. Going on board this train is one of the most luxurious and unique ways of travel on a ten-hour journey between mountains and clouds to the majestic Lake Titicaca. Upon arriving at Puno, our local representative will welcome you and start our drive towards the Chucuito Peninsula, about an hour away from Puno. Once here, we'll check into the luxurious Titilaka Lodge. This small and beautiful lakeside property offers full board service and only a-la-carte activities for its guests as one of the best and most flexible ways to explore this marvelous destination! After you settled in, you can have lunch and plan your activities. Note: Titicaca Train only departs from Cusco on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays throughout the year and Fridays from April to October. Titilaka Lodge offers a-la-carte activities to choose from according to your interests. This itinerary is just a suggestion, and you are free to modify it on-site.

This morning, we'll head to Juliaca's airport to board our flight to Talara, with a short stop in Lima. Upon arriving, our local representative will welcome and transfer you to your charming beach hotel in Mancora Las Pocitas, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The rest of today is free to relax in the area. This area of Peru's coastline is blessed with beautiful beaches and sun all year round.
