Day 1

place Arrival in Sydney

Transfer from Sydney Airport to your accommodation. FREE TIME IN SYDNEY Circular Quay can be considered as the heart of Sydney. Walk around the harbour to feel the atmosphere of the city. Sydney is undoubtedly located in one of the most beautiful bays on Earth. Admire its world-famous Opera and then cross its Harbour Bridge to enjoy a 180º panorama. Afterwards, stroll in the Rocks, Sydney's historic district. You will find there some of Australia's oldest monuments, that were built back in the 18th century by the first European settlers. An open-air market is organised in the lanes every Saturday and Sunday. At the end of the day, make your way to the Botanic Gardens. Covering an area of 30 ha, they are the green lung of Sydney!

Day 2

place Sydney and Opera House Visit

SYDNEY AND OPERA HOUSE VISIT Meet your guide at Queen Victoria Building and start your visit of Sydney. Learn about the city's fascinating history and how Sydney has developed into a thriving metropolis over the past 200 years, and you will see the imposing and elegant Victorian-era buildings that perfectly define Sydney's architectural heritage. Your guide will take you back in time, as you discover the historic Rocks district. It is here that Sydney was born. Your guide will share with you the stories and legends of this place, and will make you discover its secret little alleys and its architecture. For about an hour, your guide will take you to the heart of Sydney's Opera House, the emblem of the city but also of Australia as a whole. Walk around the interior of the building and its various rooms, and learn about its eventful history and the architectural challenge of its construction. TIME OFF IN SYDNEY In the afternoon, you will have time to explore Sydney on your own. We will advise you on the best places to visit.

Day 3

place A day in the Blue Mountain

Early departure with your driver-guide to reach the Blue Mountains. You will admire magnificent panoramas (waterfalls, canyon...). The region is rich in history and legends - the Three Sisters (impressive rock formations near Katoomba) is well known here. You will then take a walk through the Jurassic rainforest, and enjoy magnificent views of the entire valley and surrounding mountains. You will have lunch in the charming village of Leura in a pleasant little restaurant. Then, in the afternoon, you will visit a wildlife park to meet some of Australia's iconic animals, such as kangaroos, koalas and kookaburras. It will then be time for you to head back to your hotel in Sydney in the late afternoon (possibility of taking a boat to Sydney by the river, you will not be accompanied by your guide in this case, and will reach your hotel by yourself from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. Day 4

place Sydney - Adelaide

Transfer from your accommodation to Sydney Airport. Domestic flight Sydney - Adelaide (not included) Pick up of your rental vehicle at Adelaide Airport. FREE TIME IN ADELAIDE Adelaide is a quiet city with museums, small restaurants, its Central Market... Its green spaces are ideal in summer, as they allow everyone to find some shade and cope with the high temperatures of the region. Adelaide is also the starting point for excursions to various wine valleys: Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Mc Laren Vale... During this day, you will be able to enjoy the capital of South Australia in complete freedom.

Day 5

place Adélaïde - Kangaroo Island

You are now on your way to Cape Jervis, in the South of the Fleurieu peninsula. It takes about 2 hours to reach the ferry dock to Kangaroo Island. Let's go to Kangaroo Island! At least three times a day, a ferry cross the channel between Cape Jervis on the continent, and Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. The boat trip takes about 50 minutes. Upon your arrival on Kangaroo Island, hit the road! Pennington Bay is the perfect place to make your first stop. Climb the little hill to enjoy amazing views over the island. Then, drive to Seal Bay (along the way, you will have the possibility to visit an Eucalyptus oil distillery), where about 500 sealions live all year round. Viewing platforms will give you the chance to observe these animals in their natural environment. You can also join a ranger to get up close with the sealions. Then, make your way to Little Sahara, famous for its amazing sand dunes.

Day 6

place Kangaroo Island

At the western end of Kangaroo Island is the Flinders Chase National Park. This Park is a sanctuary for many endangered species. Some of them were imported from the continent in the 1920s, like the platypus and the koalas. You will also certainly see kangaroos, wallabies, seals and many species of birds. Do not hesitate to take the start of one of the walks! Then, make your way to Remarkable Rock, Kangaroo Island's emblem. This rock formation is spectacular and looks like a contemporary work of art ! Admiral's Arch is a good spot to observe fur seals, while Cape du Couedic has a nice lighthouse.

Day 7

place Kangaroo Island - Adélaïde

It is time to go back to the mainland after your stay in the pristine wilderness of Kangaroo Island. You will take the ferry from Penneshaw to Cape Jervis. Today's drive is going to be tasty. Indeed, you will drive through the Mc Laren Vale, a famous wine-growing region. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, the roads are looking like the ones in Southern Europe... Along the way, you can make a detour through Hahndorf. This village was founded by German settlers and keeps a German identity and architecture. Then you will reach Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia.

Day 8

place Adélaïde - Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon

Return of your rental vehicle at Adelaide Airport. Domestic flight Adelaide - Ayers Rock (not included) DISCOVERY OF THE RED CENTRE BY 4X4 (SELF DRIVE) Pick up your rental 4x4 vehicle at Ayers Rock Airport, for a discovery of the Red Centre. On your way to Kings Canyon now, you will follow the Lasseter Hwy and take the Luritja road to reach the breathtaking Kings Canyon.

Day 9

place Kings Canyon- Ayers Rock

Now it's time to discover Kings Canyon. Leave early in the morning to explore these canyons sculpted by erosion. This Rim Walk hike (detailed in your road book) will remain a highlight of your tour in the Red Centre, the place is spectacular. You will pass through "Lost City" and the Garden of Eden, a small oasis of greenery where you can eventually swim. Then, hit the road so you don't miss an unforgettable experience to remember : the sunset on Uluru! The famous rock then offers a gradation of flamboyant reds, before falling asleep in the dark. This show leaves no one indifferent.

Day 10

place Kata Tjuta- Ayers Rock

Once again, you should wake up early, this time to be able to watch an amazing sunrise on Uluru. Then, head on to Kata-Tjuta (which means "many heads"), a group of large, domed rock formations. If you like walking, take the start of the Valley of Winds hike. If you just want to go for a short walk, you will find plenty of alternative options. This day is dedicated to the exploration of the world-famous Uluru / Kata-Tjuta National Park. Feel free to contact us if you wish to discover this emblematic site in a different way (helicopter flight, camel ride...).

Day 11

place Ayers Rock- Cairns

Self-guided visit of the Aboriginal cultural centre. You can discover the traditions of the Anangu people, the legends of the Dreamtime (or the time of dreams), their languages and the history of the Aboriginals. Return your rental vehicle at Ayers Rock Airport. Domestic flight Ayers Rock - Cairns (not included) Private transfer from Cairns Airport to your accommodation. Gateway to the rainforest of North Queensland and to the Great Barrier Reef (several cruises depart from Cairns marina), Cairns is a touristic, vibrant town. It is the perfect place to buy some souvenirs. You will also find there many good restaurants and trendy cafés. After dinner, walk along the water to feel the true spirit of the city.

Day 12

place Cairns- Green Island

3 NIGHTS PACKAGE ON GREEN ISLAND : From Cairns, you will take a boat to Green Island, a paradise island. It is an old coral islet, which, over time, has evolved into an island. The vegetation is lush... This island is not called "green" for nothing! Green Island guarantees you a unique stay, a real immersion in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. During your 4-day stay on Green Island, you can explore the island through walks or boat trips with a glass bottom, and of course you can visit the Great Barrier Reef! Green Island is also an idyllic place to simply swim or do a little “ nothing".

Day 13

During your second day on Green Island, take part in the Great Barrier Reef Adventure guided tour. Thanks to the glass bottom, you will have the possibility to watch the coral reef directly from the boat. But of course, it will also be possible to jump into the water and to snorkel among the corals. If you are looking for a different experience, you will have several options. Windsurfs and canoes are available for free, and water ski as an option. Green Island Resort also has its own spa and a really nice swimming pool. Enjoy!
