Very early breakfast then transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Samburu National Reserve departing at 8.30a.m. and arriving at 9.55a.m., home to the rare and exotic wildlife species such as the Gerenuk, Rothschild Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, endangered Samburu monkeys, Beisa Oryx and large elephant herds arriving in Samburu in time for check in and lunch. After lunch depart for afternoon game drives within the park. Samburu National Reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River in the dry northern Kenya. It is located in a hot and arid area characterized by a parched landscape of hills and plains. Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Today after breakfast you drive to Nanyuki to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy with game drive enroute. Ol Pejeta Conservancy lies in a 90,000-acre not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County arriving in good time for lunch with afternoon game viewing. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. After a hearty breakfast depart for L. Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, mid-morning game drive then leave for Lake Naivasha which is the highest Lake in The Rift Valley arriving late afternoon. Lake Naivasha is famous in the 1930’s as a staging post for Imperial Airways Flying Boat Services from Durban to London and you can see the Lake sparkling in the sun thousands of feet below. Proceed to the Sopa Lodge for lunch with a visit to the Hell’s Gate National Park past Fishers Tower in the afternoon. You will visit the Geothermal Power Plant at Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. Hell’s gate is the only park that officially allows transport by walking and bicycling. The small perimeters of the park give you a chance to see a variety of wildlife, if time allows you will have a boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Today after breakfast, you will depart to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game you will arrive in time for check in with lunch and departing for afternoon game drives. Optional activities include hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, bush lunch/dinner/breakfast, bird walks, and evening sundowner. The Bush Dinner awaits you and will commence with the setting of the sun. Very early game drive before breakfast, after breakfast, you will drive back to Nairobi with an early dinner at the Nairobi Carnivore before airport transfer for your flight back hom.
