Day 1

place Welcome to Oregon!

Arrive to Portland International Airport and make your way to the beautiful Oregon Coast. You’ll enjoy the scenic 1.5 hour drive to Cannon Beach through the Coastal mountain range with an optional stop in down town Portland. Check into your accommodations and spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 2

place Day at Leisure on the Oregon Coast

Spend the day at your leisure, enjoying the unique beauty that the Oregon coast offers. Enjoy delicious fish and chips and other local favorites  -like marionberry pie - at picturesque seaside restaurants. Check out tide pools or hike between the trees and the beach at Ecola  State Park. Your Good Trip guide will be happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.

We’ll explore some of the beautiful wineries around the Willamette Valley and taste world famous pinots from Oregon. Enjoy picturesque views as you over look miles of vineyards from the decks of the gorgeous tasting rooms . Your Good Trip guide will tell you about the history and geology behind the Willamette Valley as you are transferred from one winery to another. You’ll continue the 3 hour drive south to Bend. Check in to your accommodations and enjoy an evening at leisure

You’ll spend the late evening on a small group stargazing canoeing trip with your local Oregon, naturalist guide in a small group setting. Your guide will point out constellations as you paddle around a dreamy Cascade lake.

Day 7

Say goodbye to Bend as you head north towards the Columbia River Gorge.Meet your guide at a stop a long the way and enjoy a private guided tour exploring scenic Mount Hood- Oregon’s high est mountain. You’ll continue on to the historic Timberline Lodge,where you’ll have dinner and drinks to close out the day before driving to Hood River on the Columbia River Gorge.

Day 8

Today, you’ll travel along the scenic route,with stops including the Crown Point Vista House, Multnomah Falls, Hood River, and Bridge of the Gods. Formed by centuries of land slides and erosion, the gorge is home to amazing ecological diversity. Your naturalist guide will share with you the history and ecological wonder of the area. You’ll stop for a delicious picnic lunch along the Columbia River Gorge in one of Hood River’s local parks.
