From this breathtaking altitude, we begin our invigorating 4-hour walking descent into central La Paz. Authentic Local Transport Experience

Feel like a true Paceño by hopping onto a micro or local bus—a cheerful, retrofitted Bluebird school bus painted in dazzling hues—and travel straight into the beating heart of the markets.

Arriving at the market district, you’ll have the chance to browse a rainbow of goods and handicrafts. Explore the legendary Witch’s Market, famed for mysterious potions, amulets, and local remedies.
