At 3,718 meters, Teide volcano is Spain's highest peak and the third-highest volcano in the world, and its two ecosystems make the climb an experience full of contrasts. We will take you to the private guided hiking Teide with cable car-ascent to Teide peak. A visit to the summit of Mt Teide by cable car offers a great view of the spectacular landscape of the Canary Islands’ largest national park. The base station is perfectly accessible by road and is located at 2,356 m above sea level. Its modern facilities include two cars with a capacity of a maximum of 44 passengers. The cars take 8 minutes to reach the summit. The views from the base station allow you to take in the spectacular peaks surrounding the Teide volcano. The upper station is located at an altitude of 3,555 m and is the starting point. On clear days, it is possible to see from the summit the profile of the nearby islands, such as La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria. The hike lasts approximately one hour. In the afternoon, we will take you to the private walking tour to San Cristobal de la Laguna, considered as the most beautiful town in Tenerife, only 15 km away from Santa Cruz de Tenerife. San Cristóbal de La Laguna is the first example of an unfortified town with a grid model that was the direct precursor of the settlements in the Americas under Spanish rule during colonial times. Right in the middle of the Atlantic, the islands of Madeira and Porto Santo are a haven of natural beauty. The exotic colors of the flowers stand out from among the blue sea and the emerald green vegetation; this is an archipelago where two thirds are a protected area and where the largest Laurisilva forest in the world is located. Continue to Camacha, famous for its beautiful wicker works, and stop to have a look around and then take a scenic drive up to Poiso where the start of the Laurissilva forest can be found. After this, make your way to the majestic views of Pico do Arieiro. Pico do Arieiro is the third-highest peak on the island, standing 1818 meters. Next is what some consider to be the most beautiful spot on the island, Ribeiro Frio. Here you will visit a trout farm and do a levada walk to the Balcões. Following the walk, make your way to Santana to see its famous A-framed cottages and then continue along the northern coastal road to Faial. Here, stop for lunch at a famous restaurant on the island called Grutas do Faial, which means the caves of Faial. A delicious lunch is served along with a very good locally made table wine. After lunch carry on to the eastern part of the island, to the famous viewpoint of Pico do Facho. From here you will have incredible views of Ponta de São Lourenco, Machico and the airport. On a good day one can see the Desertas Islands as well Porto Santo, the small island adjacent to Madeira. The last stop will be a famous viewpoint above Machico.
