This morning you enjoy a unique experience with a 5 Shy Meerkat Tour, after which you enjoy beakfast while you plan the rest of your day at your own leisure - recommendation would be a standard tour of the Cango Caves. Meerkat's are are part of the so called "Shy 5" which includes the bat-eared fox, the aardvark, porcupine and aardwolf. The Meerkat tour lasts between 2 and 3 hours - and is weather dependent - upon arrival at the meerkat burrows you are treated to a hot cup of coffee, after which you will be seated in order to observe the meerkats as they come out of their burrows into the sunshine and go about their daily routine foraging an frolicking. Tours are presented by JD Glinister and his team, this is a unique privilege and fantastic experience to get up close to these little creatures in the wild. Explore the underground wonderland of the Cango Caves, a true South Africa heritage, on a standard 1 hour tour, with an English speaking guide, which is a easy walk through the first six largest and most spectacular halls and continuing through to the African Drum room (this includes a few stairs).
