Day 1

place Day 1: Algiers,

Arrival and reception airport Algiers, Transfer to the hôtel, with a stop in Riadh El Feth and the Balconies of Algiers. Check in at the hotel, then city tour on foot in the boulevards of Algiers: Michelet, Isly, the Grande Poste, the Forum and the Floral clock. Dinner.

Day 2

place Cherchell - Tipasa - Tomb of the Christian- (100 km – 1h30)

Departure towards Cherchell, ancient Roman Caesarea (Phoenician IOL). Then visit the museum of exceptional antique sculptures, then visit the Museum of ancient pieces and its garden of Mosaic and we will end by the discovery of the Roman Baths. Lunch. Direction Tipasa with visit of the ancient city located in the western hill, the theater, the circus, the thermal baths ... (This site is classified by the UNESCO in the patrimony of the Humanity) ... Numerous vestiges Punic, Christians and Africans attest to the richness of the history of this region. On the way back we make a hook to visit the Royal Mausoleum of Mauritania, called Tomb of the Christian. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

place Algiers-Casbah -

Departure for visit of the Casbah, starting with the Citadel and the Centennial House (Architect Claro Léon). Then cross the Casbah through the narrow streets with stops for visit of Traditional Houses, Terraces with panoramic views over the Bay of Algiers, tea tastings and traditional cakes. Then visit the oldest mosque in the Casbah: Sidi Ramdane, Bir Chebana Fountain, Sidi Abderahmane Mausoleum, Mustapha Pacha Palace (now the Arabic Calligraphy Museum). Traditional lunch at the Casbah. In the afternoon, discover the boulevard front de mer and the national theater (1853), the popular neighborhood of Bâb El Oued which is a set of neighborhoods (Guillemin, Trois Horloges, Baceta, Climat de France and Trioli) Then we finish the hike by the basilica of our Lady of Africa (1872) an architectural jewel built on an exceptional site that dominates Algiers from east to west. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

place Algiers-Sétif (duration 03 hours – 280 km)

Departure early to the archaeological park of "Djemila", classified by UNESCO in the heritage of Humanity. Formerly Cuicul. It is one of the most beautiful sets of Roman ruins in the world. The archaeological remains, the well-integrated Roman town plan and the environmental setting constitute the resources that represent the values attributed to the site (we will discover the Caracala Arch, the Grandes Thermes, the Christian Basilica and the museum and its magnificent paintings Mosaics) as well as the Baptistery of the 4th Century. Direction Setif, chek in to the hotel, then pedestrian tour of the city and with its wide shopping arteries, and its famous fountain "Ain El Fouara", symbol of the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

place Sètif - Tiddis - Constantine - (180 km – 02 h)

Departure towards Tiddis: an authentic Berber site modified by the Roman civilization and arranged according to their systems of urbanization. Tiddis (or Castellum Tidditanorum), which once depended on Cirta still preserves Libyan inscriptions and symbols on Berber pottery. Direction Constantine, chek in to the hotel, then lunch. After lunch, , then walk through the narrow streets of the old town, which is a real incursion into the history of Constantine, the Rhummel gorges and the magnificent panoramas of the former War Memorial Suspended bridges ... and the famous bridges of the city. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

place Constantine

Morning, visit the souk of Constantine and its old quarter. Lunch at a local restaurant to discover the local cuisine. After noon, visit the Bey Palace with its magnificent mosaics and gardens. We will end this day with an emotional visit to the Great Mosque of Constantine. Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7

place Constantine - Batna -

Departure to Batna with a stop in the Salines (Grand Chott where the salt is produced). Visit their production workshop. Then visit of Médracen which is a famous Berber Tomb. Lunch in Timgad, afternoon visit of the city of Timgad: The Roman city, which was named after Thamugadi (colonia Marciana Traiana Thamugadi) in antiquity, was founded by the emperor Trajan and endowed with the status of colony. Head to the site of Hippo Regius (or Hippo), which was first a Carthaginian colony, then the residence of the Numidian kings and the Roman city under Augustus. It was later occupied by the Vandals, then the Byzantines, and finally by the Arabs in the 10th century, until the end of the Fatimid period. The city was bishop St. Augustine from 396 to 430 AD Hippo, the episcopal seat of Augustine.
