Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Argentina trip. Over a million tourists a year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar, or Sugar Loaf Mountain in English, which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio. Then, we will stop for lunch. After lunch time, we will depart to visit the Christ Statue, which was recently elected as one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, which sits 2,300 feet above sea level, atop Corcovado Hill. Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, we will arrive at the foot of the hill from where we will embark on a small train which climbs the beautiful mountain. Upon reaching the top, visitors will experience a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is known as the “Marvelous City”! Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

Visit to the Amazonas Theater, inaugurated in 1896, and undoubtedly one of the main points of Manaus. Symbol of the era of rubber latex, all the wealth and grandeur of those times are still transmitted to us through its corridors, salons and works of art. Soon, a short stop in front of the Río Negro Palace, former official seat of the Government of State and beautiful example of architecture of the golden period of the gum (1890-1910), also observing the popular houses (stilts), in the adjacent swamp. Visit to the museum of the Salesian Congregation, a better place to understand the traditions, customs and habits of the indigenous populations of the upper Rio Negro. Visit to the Adolpho Lisbon Municipal Market, from where the Floating Port can be seen. Return to the Hotel.
