The Muisca people used to throw in gold as an offering to the gods. Many people have tried to find this gold but with no success. The area has trails and many birds. The nearby town of Guatavita can be visited. Dinner in Andrés Carne de Res in Chía (not included). This restaurant is famous for excellent food, cocktails and dancing/entertainment. Breakfast at Venecia Farmhouse. Today we continue our journey to Medellín, which is also known as the city of the Eternal Spring. This is due to its year-round pleasant climate. The journey takes about 6 hours. On our way, we make a stop in the village of Salmina. We visit a jaw-dropping viewpoint and get so see the famous wax palm trees, before we continue our journey to Medellín, crossing a beautiful coffee landscape. Check-in at the hotel. The hotel is located near Parque Lleras. There you will find countless restaurants and bars to end the day comfortably.
