Day 2: Plitvice Lakes and Split | Waterfalls and Coastal Arrival
You start your day with breakfast, then make your way independently to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This UNESCO-listed site is Croatia’s oldest and largest national park, featuring 16 clear lakes connected by waterfalls and cascades. Wooden footbridges and pathways wind for 18 kilometers through forests and over the water, with mineral-rich streams forming ever-changing tufa formations. You may spend up to six hours exploring on foot or shorten your visit by using the park’s free boats and buses, which operate every 30 minutes from April to October. Later, a private transfer takes you to Split, where you check in at your hotel and have the evening at leisure.
Plitvice Lakes National Park has been protected by UNESCO since 1979 and is renowned for its unique karst landscape and biodiversity.

Day 3: Active Adventures in Split | Choose Your Experience
After breakfast, your day in Split is open for you to choose from a range of active and cultural experiences. You might opt for a full-day boat trip to Kornati National Park, where you explore an untouched archipelago and enjoy a fish picnic. Alternatively, visit Šarićevi dvori for a two-hour culinary experience in restored stone cottages, sampling traditional Dalmatian dishes and local Babić wines. If you prefer adventure, you can go rafting on the Cetina River, covering 12 kilometers of rapids, waterfalls, and scenic cliffs, ending at Radmanove Mlinice. Another option is a four-hour ATV quad tour through the Dalmatian hinterland, passing through villages and along wild country roads by the Cetina River. For a more relaxed outing, consider a half-day sailing trip from Split to Šolta Island, where you can spend time on the water and enjoy the island’s peaceful atmosphere.
Split is known for its UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, which forms the heart of the city’s historic center and reflects its Roman heritage.

Day 4: Split to Hvar | Medieval Towns and Island Views
After breakfast, you board a catamaran from Split and travel across the Adriatic to Hvar Island. Upon arrival, you have time to explore Hvar Old Town, noted for its medieval architecture shaped by four centuries of Venetian influence. You can visit the oldest municipal theater in Europe, established in 1612, and walk up to Spanjol Fortress, where white limestone walls offer panoramic views over the town and coastline. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy swimming or relaxing along Hvar’s beaches and waterfront.
Hvar’s Old Town is celebrated for its cultural history and has long been a center of trade and the arts in the Adriatic region.

Day 5: Leisure on Hvar | Optional Island Activities
You have the entire day at leisure on Hvar Island, with several optional activities available if you wish to explore further. You might choose to visit Restaurant Jastožera in Komiza, traveling there by boat to sample their specialty lobster and local wine. If you are interested in underwater exploration, Hvar offers half-day scuba diving trips to over 15 dive sites near the Pakleni Islands, all within a short boat ride from town. For a land-based adventure, you can join a four-hour cycling tour through Hvar’s inland villages such as Dol, Svirce, and Vrisnik, continuing to the coastal areas of Jelsa and Vrboska, following part of the route of the 500-year-old UNESCO Easter Procession. Another option is a full-day cruise around the Paklinski Islands, with stops at three popular bays for swimming and snorkeling, and an optional fish picnic lunch on board.

Day 6: Hvar to Dubrovnik | Oysters and the Pelješac Peninsula
After breakfast, you leave Hvar by catamaran or ferry, traveling to Ston. On the way to Dubrovnik, you stop on the Pelješac peninsula, which is known for its 14th-century fortification complex stretching 3.5 miles. In the Ston area, you join a private boat tour to the oyster banks of Mali Ston, where you taste fresh oysters—a regional specialty. After this culinary experience, you continue to Dubrovnik. The evening is free for you to enjoy in this historic coastal city.
The Pelješac peninsula has been an important center for oyster farming and salt production since medieval times, contributing to the region’s culinary and economic heritage.

Day 7: Discover Dubrovnik | Old Town and City Walls
After breakfast, you spend your day in Dubrovnik, often called the Pearl of the Adriatic. Walking along the city’s ancient walls, you enjoy views of the Elafiti Islands and the Adriatic Sea. The rest of your day is free to continue exploring Dubrovnik’s vibrant atmosphere at your own pace.
