Manila - Baguio
• Breakfast at the hotel. • After breakfast, check out. Drive going to Baguio (for approx. 4hours) • Baguio City is located some 1,600 meters above sea level, nestled within the Cordillera Central mountain range in northern Luzon. The city is enclosed by the province of Benguet. Most of the developed part of the city is built on uneven, hilly terrain of the northern section. It is considered the "Summer Capital of the Philippines." The city is abundant with pine tree, so it is nicknamed the City of Pines. • Upon arrival, we will proceed with Baguio City Tour. Visit and take a stroll around Burnham Park, Mines View Park, and Camp John Hay. Get the chance to visit Tam-Awan Village with reconstructed Ifugao and Kalinga huts and also a venue for art exhibits and workshops, Woodcarver’s Village, Saint Louis Filigree Shop. Another interesting stop is the Museo Kordilyera, the first ethnographic museum in the Northern part of the Philippines. Explore the many shops and stalls in the Baguio city market. It is famous with tourists and locals alike because of its cleanliness and cheap goods. • Transfer to the hotel and check in.

Baguio - Banaue
• Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. • Land drive to Banaue for approx.7hours. • Banaue is home to the majestic Banaue Rice Terraces which are 2000-year old terraces that were carved into the mountains of the Cordilleras by the Ifugaos. The rice terraces are commonly referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World”, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The terraces, built by hand are located approximately 1500 meters (5000 ft) above sea level and cover 10,360 square kilometers (about 4000 square miles) of mountainside. They are fed by an ancient irrigation system from the rainforests above the terraces. • Visit the local market located a few minutes from the hotel. • Check in and overnight at the hotel.

Banaue
• Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up for Full day Batad and Banga-an Rice Terraces Tour. • To reach the terraces, one has to ride the local means of transportation –a jeepney. It’s an hour’s journey to reach the saddle where you will start your trek and descent to the village along steep terraces. • Batad Terraces is shaped as an amphitheater and has served as means of survival to the Ifugao people in terms of farming and agriculture. It is said to be the most magnificent of all the rice terraces in the Ifugao province, although it takes more effort to climb up a hill to view this amazing man-made wonder that is carved steeply along the side of the mountain. • Start ascent back to the saddle for a ride to Banga-an Rice Terraces. A traditional village nestled in a panoramic valley of terraces. A 20-minute walk in a descending trail permits a closer look of the Ifugao world. It’s short descent to the village along paved trails down the terraces. Walk around and mingle with the friendly natives and visit a typical home to see their life ways. • After tour, transfer back to the hotel.

Banaue - Sagada
• Breakfast at the hotel. • Land drive to Sagada for approx. 3-4 hours. • Stop by several view points and Bontoc Museum along the way. • This museum was founded by the Belgian sisters who have been active in the area for decades. It consists of four well laid out rooms featuring artefacts and old photos plus a group of traditional houses. Take a peek in the past of the Cordilleras with the exhibits and displays featuring actual ancient tools and houses supported by old photos of the early times. • Upon arrival to Sagada, Check in.

Sagada
• Breakfast at the accommodation. • Proceed with Sagada sightseeing tour. • Explore this quaint little town and its wonders. Start your trek at St. Mary’s Church and pass through the graveyard behind it. Walk through the picturesque Echo Valley with lush trees and eminent limestone cliffs. See the coffins of early residents hanging by the limestone cliffs. How they were able to put the coffins up back in the ancient times remains a mystery to many. Visit the mouth of caves used as burial grounds in ancient times. The coffins are still present until today. • Transfer back to the inn.

Sagada - Vigan
Breakfast at the accommodation. • Check out. Land drive to Vigan for approx.6-7 hours. • Vigan is a veritable Spanish settlement in the 15th century. Vigan has retained its Spanish charm with its cobbled streets, and horse drawn carriages. From the hotel, walk to Syquia Mansion and start the tour of the Heritage Village of Vigan, one of the 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines. The Heritage Village is known for its well-preserved old stone houses (Bahay na Bato) made from hard adobe stones. The spacious interior of these houses showcaseshand-crafted period furniture and accessories • Transfer to hotel and check in.

Vigan - Laoag
• Breakfast at the hotel. • Land drive up to Laoag with multiple stops en route. • Along the way, several interesting places are must visits. First stop is Bantay Church and Bell Tower which also houses the Chapel by the Ruins. More than an hour’s drive northwards bring you to the famous Batac Riverside Empanadaan for the proclaimed “Best Empanada in town”. Head further up to the town of Paoay which is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site baroque style church. The most striking feature this church is its 24 huge buttresses conceived to a solution to possible destruction of the building due to earthquakes. • Proceed to Laoag City and visit St. Williams Cathedral and the Sinking Bell Tower. First built in 1612, the church is known for its Italian Renaissance design. The bell tower, located 85 meters away from its church, is said to be sinking at a rate of an inch per year because it was built on sandy foundations despite its size and mass. • Transfer to the hotel. Check in and overnight at the hotel.
