Day 1: Arrival – Queen Alia International Airport –Amman
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. Our airport representative will be waiting for you to assist with the visa procedures. The airport representative will walk you through customs and down to the luggage hall. Afterwards, meet with your driver in the arrival hall. Transfer to your hotel in Amman for an overnight and dinner.

Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo – Dead Sea
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your driver and drive on to Madaba,“the City of Mosaics", is best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, is home to the famous 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of colored stone, the map depicts hills and valleys, villages, and towns as far as the Nile Delta. You will visit the St. George Church with its famous mosaic map, continue to Mount Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan and the place where Moses was buried. A small Byzantine church was built there by early Christians, which has been expanded into a vast complex. During his visit to Jordan in 2000, the Late Pope John Paul II held a sermon here that was attended by some 20,000 faithful. Start biking from Mount NEBO / passing through Ouin al theeb / finish at Dead Sea (hotels area). Dead Sea, it is the lowest point on the face of the earth. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine, and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant, and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times. Enjoy floating salty water and mineral mud. Overnight and dinner in Dead Sea.

Day 3: Dead Sea – Mukawir – Petra
After breakfast at the hotel, your luggage will be picked up by a vehicle to be transferred to your hotel in Petra. Starting early in morning start biking towards Mukawir. Mukawir, also known as Machaerus, is a fortified palace that overlooks the iconic Dead Sea. Although little remains of this regal landmark today, visitors can still explore the Roman baths and castle walls that contributed to its defense system. At the end of your day transfer to Petra for an overnight.

Day 4: Petra – Shobak Castle – Biking – Little Petra – Back to Petra
After breakfast at the hotel join the cycling team to bike around Shobak Castle. Start from Shawbak castle through Jhaier panoramic view to Little Petra, it is an ancient archaeological site located a few kilometers north of the World UNESCO site of Petra. There you visit the rock tombs, cisterns, frescoes and get the first impression of the unique Nabatean architecture. An amazing site with open area for cycling with excellent views. Stop and have lunch along the way. Lunch boxes will be provided in advance. After lunch and exploring Little Petra, meet your driver and transfer back to your hotel in Petra for an overnight.

Day 4: Petra Full Day
After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as one of the seven wonders of the world. Petra was carved out of the rocky southern Jordanian desert by the Nabateans over 2000 years ago. What was then the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Here you will meet your local guide for an approximately 2-hour guided tour. Enter through the Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. After lunch, if time permits, visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice. It is a lot of climbing but definitely worth the views! Overnight with dinner in Petra.

Day 6: Petra – Al Rajef – Delagha – Humaymeh Abbaseyya – Wadi Rum
After breakfast at the hotel, your luggage will be picked up by a vehicle to be transferred to your hotel in Wadi Rum. Start from Al Rajef through Dlagha village to Humaymah al Abbasiyah finish at Qwairah village. Boxed lunches will be prepared in advance. At the end of your tour your campsite will be ready upon arrival and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Take in the silence and unique landscape around the burning campfire with the dunes lighted up by the setting sun while thousands of stars sparkle in the sky. Check-in for an overnight and dinner at your campsite.

Day 7: Wadi Rum – Disi – Aqaba (The Red Sea)
After breakfast at the camp, check-out and meet with your driver. Start from Wadi Rum village, crossing 3 km off-road toward Disi and then transfer to Aqaba and check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours. Explore Aqaba and its Red Sea coastal line. Aqaba is full of water activities such as snorkeling and diving. Feel free to enjoy the beach or roam around local markets. Overnight in and dinner Aqaba.

Day 8: Aqaba– Queen Alia International Airport
After breakfast Check out of your hotel and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure. Keep in mind that you need to be at the airport 3 hours prior to your departure time. Thank you for choosing Why Jordan Tours and we wish safe travels in your flight back home.
