On another day, you could visit the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, which is about an hour drive from Orlando. The Kennedy Space Center is the center of the national space program. Today, you will drive from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale. This drive takes about 3 hours. Fort Lauderdale is situated on the southeast coast of Florida and is known for its beaches and boat channels.
