Day 1

Welcome to New York City, known for first-class museums, excellent food, and unforgettable views. There's always something new and exciting to discover here. 


Fantastic Broadway shows, fabulous shopping, and this true cultural melting pot attract visitors from all over the world. Upon arrival at one of the 3 major airports, you can take a taxi, Uber, or train to your hotel in Manhattan for check-in. Relax or explore your surroundings and enjoy a dinner on your own at one of New York City’s many fantastic restaurants.

Day 2

place Midtown Manhattan

Today, you can start exploring the city. Visit Central Park and walk to Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry Fields, and the famous Dakota Building. 


Enjoy the beautiful small lakes, bridges, monuments, and nature. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States and one of the most filmed locations in the world. Around the park, you will find the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History, as well as the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of the City of New York. Walk along famous Fifth Avenue, aka Museum Mile, as a luxury shopping, dining, and cultural destination, offering many of the finest stores such as Tiffany's, Gucci, Saks, and Bergdorf's, as well as cultural spots such as MoMA and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. 


If you walk down Fifth Avenue towards Herald Square, you will pass Bryant Park and the New York Public Library, as well as the Empire State Building. When it comes to shopping, visit Macy’s, one of the world’s largest department stores. On 8 floors, you will find a combination of different brands ranging from luxury to affordable finds. In the evening, you can explore Grand Central Terminal, have dinner at the famous Grand Central Oyster Bar. 


Afterward, enjoy the magnificent views from Summit 1 Vanderbilt. Transcend 93 floors above the concrete jungle and step into an immersive, multisensory experience with stunning 360-degree views of the city.

Day 3

place Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn

Today, you can explore downtown Manhattan. 


Visit Wall Street, Trinity Church, the Oculus, the 9/11 memorial and museum, and take in the breathtaking views from the One World Observatory. Then walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights and walk along the promenade for fantastic views of Manhattan. 


You can have lunch at Time Out Market, which offers a great variety of fantastic foods and drinks (they even have a rooftop bar). From here, you can take the train back to Manhattan and explore Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown on a guided walking tour: in Soho, visit the Cast Iron Historic District and learn about 19th-century architecture; in Little Italy, learn about the early days of immigration and some famous mobsters; and in Chinatown, soak up the sights and smells of many different foods and explore this unique neighborhood.

Day 4

place Williamsburg

Today you can explore Williamsburg, a neighborhood in Brooklyn known for its great restaurants, trendy cafés, food markets, bars, live music, nightlife, and culture.


You will start with a Williamsburg Food Tasting & Walking Tour to explore the cultural hub of New York City. Discover the neighborhood with a foodie guide and stroll through Williamsburg's charming streets, stop at several eateries, and enjoy some of the Big Apple's most famous dishes, like barbecue, brewery beer, bagels, pizza, and classic deli. (3 hours)


Afterward, you can explore the area of South Williamsburg, especially around Bedford Ave and Marcy Avenue station, known for the largest Orthodox Jewish community in the United States. *A walking tour through this area can be added upon request-pending availability.  Continue with a walk over the Williamsburg Bridge back to Manhattan's Lower East Side, and if you have time, visit the Tenement Museum, check out New York City’s oldest Candy Store “Economy Candy” which is nearby, and then grab dinner at famous Katz’s Delicatessen.

Day 5

place Day Trip to Yonkers Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown

Today you can start your day early and take the Hudson Line North approx. 60 minutes to the town of Sleepy Hollow (Philipsburg Manor station). Sleepy Hollow is known for the iconic Washington Irving tale, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, especially the Headless Horseman and the historic cemetery!


The actual site of inspiration was the Old Dutch Church, which is the oldest existing church in New York and on the site of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Among the well-known people buried in the Cemetery are Washington Irving,


William Rockefeller, Walter Chrysler, Andrew Carnegie, and Samuel Gompers. You can also visit Philipsburg Manor - the Rockefeller estate and sculpture garden and stroll along Beekman Avenue to explore the shops, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops.


Then you can either take an Uber or walk to Tarrytown. Enjoy the beautiful Hudson River views, historic districts showcasing 19th- and 20th-century architecture, and unique shops as well as great restaurants and bars. Walk along the Bridge Path at the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and the River Walk Park, take a mansion tour at Lyndhurst Castle or explore the expansive grounds overlooking the Hudson.


In the evening, you can see a show at Tarrytown Music Hall or Jazz Forum before taking the train back to Midtown Manhattan. (approx. 1 hour)

place Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Markets and Broadway
