Arrival in Phnom Penh
Arrival at the airport in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Once you have passed immigration and collected your bags, we will be waiting for you at the exit for the transfer to the hotel.

Toul Sleng Museum, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace, National Museum and Central Market
At 8:30 we will leave for the Genocide Museum or Toul Sleng: it was an institute converted by the Khmer Rouge into prison: the S-21. Here more than 20,000 people were interrogated, tortured and killed; It was one of the 150 death camps of the Pol Pot regime (not suitable for children). We will visit the Royal Palace, a complex where the royal family has its residence. After that we will visit the Silver Pagoda so called for its solid silver floors. In front we will visit the National Museum that houses a large collection of Khmer art. At the end of the visit, we will cross the city to reach Wat Phnom, a 14th century Buddhist temple, which offers incredible views of the city. In the afternoon we will stroll through the Central Market, a peculiar X-shaped building in colonial art-deco style, before returning to the hotel.

Spider Market, Phnom Bros, Nokor Temple and Pen island
At 8:30 we will leave for the province of Kompong Cham, we will make a stop on the way in Skuon to visit the spider market, popularly known for its fried spiders. Our next stop will be to visit the Phnom Bros, the hill of men, named after the competition between genders in the construction of the temples, who built it first? From there we will travel by motorcycle to the Nokor Temple, built by King Suryavarman I, which was not finished for unknown reasons, there we will see how the monks prepare for study, the stupas where the ashes are kept, ... We will continue our route with the motorcycle to the ferry to cross to Pen Island, where our drivers will walk us while we enjoy the more local atmosphere, temples, markets, tobacco, corn, beans plantations, ... We will continue to Kompong Thom, where we will stay.

Sompov Pagoda and Sambor Prei Kuk
At 8:30 we will leave for the place where our motorcycle drivers are waiting for us. With them we will drive between rice fields and villages, towards the Sompov Meas Sompov Brak Pagoda, a beautiful pagoda that is accessed by crossing the Seine river by “ferry”. We will continue our way to Siem Reap making a stop to visit the Pre-Angkorian Complex of Ishanapura. The Sambor Prei Kuk group of Temples was built in the 7th century and was dedicated to the god Shiva. It is also located in the middle of one of the most beautiful and best preserved forests in Cambodia. The Sambor Prei Kuk style is the architectural style, prototype of the Angkor temples. After the visit, we will head to Siem Reap.

Ta Phrom, Ta Nei, Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat
Meeting at 8:30 at reception. We will go by tuk tuk to the temple grounds to collect the pass. We will start with Ta Phrom, from the late 12th century and Khmer style, known from the movie Tomb Raider; Ta Nei or hidden temple. Angkor Wat, the greatest exponent of Khmer architecture, considered the largest religious structure ever built and one of the 7 wonders of the world. After a break at noon, we will continue with Angkor Thom: “big city”, inside which we will visit: Bayon known for its towers with smiling Buddha faces; Baphuon which is a pyramidal representation of Mount Meru; Phimean Akas, used to house a palace where royalty bathed; the terraces of the elephants, whose stairs are decorated with lions and garudas and life-size images of elephants, and of the leper king, where we will see a naked statue, whose meaning is unknown. Return to the hotel in our lively tuk tuk.

Tonle lake and Phnom Kulen
At 8:30 a.m. at reception to leave for the dock on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater body in all of Southeast Asia. From the boat we will be able to contemplate life in the floating village Kompong Pluk, its houses on stilts, its school, its pagoda, the supermarket boats, ... After sailing through the mangroves, we will head back to the port, where our driver awaits us to take us up to Kulen Mountain, where we will visit a Hindu temple to learn about Cambodian religious traditions and admire the views of the green esplanade around. We will continue to Phnom Kulen, a sacred mountain for Buddhists and Hindus since Jayavarman II founded the Khmer empire there. We will discover the river of the thousand lingas, its waterfalls (the volume of water varies considerably depending on the time) and its sacred spring. After this day, we will return to the hotel.

Phnom Sampov, Phnom Bannan, colonial house, Wat Kandal
At 8:30 we will leave for Phnom Sampov, at the top of this mountain stands a pagoda and 3 carvings: Pkasla, Lakhaon and Aksopheak. Every day at sunset, millions of bats take to the sky from the caves of Phnom Sampov in their search for food. Besides being a mountain covered with temples, caves and statues to explore, with a breathtaking view, it also has importance in Cambodian folklore as an important place in the creation of the country. We will visit the old French colonial house and Wat Kandal, a great working temple with monks that inhabit it. Built in the late 19th century, the walls of the Congregation Hall show murals of a local legend of a man who killed his mother and was sent to hell in a boat. We will continue to Battambang where we will stay.

Kompong Luong floating village and Udong
Depart at 8:30 am for Phnom Penh; We will board the bamboo train in which Cambodians traditionally transported goods and moved from one place to another. We will make another stop along the way to see the floating village of Kompong Luong, homes, shops, temples, ... float on the surface of Tonle Sap Lake while residents jump from one another in long-tail boats. This floating village gives us the opportunity to discover the daily life of Cambodian families on the lake, who live with a constant movement of boats that carry people and goods to the village. It is made up of a Cambodian community and a Vietnamese community that live in total tranquility in the waters of the lake. We will continue our way to Phnom Penh.
