Our tour starts at the time of arrival in Ecuador, a specialized guide will pick us up at Mariscal Sucre airport on the outskirts of the city of Quito to accompany us to our hotel.
CITY TOUR QUITO – CUYABENO DEPARTURE
After a delicious breakfast, we will take a city tour through the beautiful and magical Quito Colonial capital of Ecuador that has outstanding architecture in addition to the largest and best-preserved historic center in South America. We will visit the Basilica, one of the best representations of the neo-Gothic style we will continue to the Panecillo where we will find the mountaineer Virgin of Legarda we continue our tour to the historic center where we can visit, the church of San Francisco, the Company of Jesus, the Cathedral and The Big Way. Get ready for your trip to the Amazon: Have your luggage ready, our guide will be at midnight (00:00) at the hotel reception to start our trip by Private ground transport to the Amazon region of Cuyabeno, we will arrive the next day.

CUYABENO REGION: RAINFOREST ADVENTURE
In the morning we will pass through Lago Agrio, a small town on the edge of the Ecuadorian jungle. After a couple of hours, the tour starts at 09:30 AM at 'El Puente de Cuyabeno', the main access to the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve and the last place of civilization. Here you will have lunch (box lunch) and then drive in a motorized canoe on the Cuyabeno River for about 2 hours until you reach the lodge. With a little luck you can already observe the first monkey and bird species on the way. The river is extremely narrow in this region and allows you to experience the wildlife up close. After your arrival at the lodge, you will have time to recover and go on your first exploratory tour in the surroundings of the lodge. After dinner your bilingual guide will inform you about the activities of the following days.

RAINFOREST ADVENTURE
Early in the morning you will explore the area looking out for monkeys and birds in the awakening tropical forest. Breakfast. After time to relax you will hike through the rainforest and your guide will share his knowledge and experience with you. You will learn how the most diverse life forms can coexist in the jungle and survive side by side within a delicate balance. Watch out for colorful butterflies, frogs and birds as you learn more about the great variety of flora. Later you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will take a trip on the Cuyabeno River, which will lead you through the dense forest landscape. You will be able to observe the wildlife found on the riverbanks, especially monkeys, macaws, toucans and sloths. Here you also have good chances to see pink river dolphins (Iniageoffrensis and Sotaliafluviatilis) in the impressive river landscape. Before dinner, after dusk, you will explore the lodge’s surroundings to look for nocturnal animals such as insects, spiders, snakes and frogs becoming active when the sunsets

RAINFOREST ADVENTURE
During an excursion early in the morning, you will take a canoe ride to enjoy the awakening nature. After breakfast, you will take a motorized canoe to visit the Seoqueya community, home to some Siona indigenous families. The family members will show you how to make ‘Cassave’ (typical manioc bread of the region). Your guide will explain the local customs and traditions of their past and present culture while you have lunch. Later you return to the lodge. In the afternoon you will travel by motorized canoe along the Cuyabeno River to the Laguna Grande. As you explore the lagoon, you will get to know ‘Igapó’, the flooded rainforest. This is a very special rainforest ecosystem dominated by giant macrolobium trees which, provide habitat for epiphytes and specialized bird species. After exploring the lag oon, you can refresh yourself with a swim in the calm waters while watching the spectacular sunset of the Amazon. Later you will continue your adventure and observe the nocturnal fauna of the river landscape, watching out for caimans before returning to the lodge. Dinner

AMAZONAS – PAPALLACTA
Today’s morning excursion includes a short trip by canoe. Take advantage of the early morning hours to observe the animals during their morning activities and to say goodbye to the jungle. After breakfast at the lodge you will have time to pack your luggage for the return journey. The ride takes you upstream back to the civilization at ‘El Puente de Cuyabeno’. Here your private transportation will be waiting to take you to Papallacta, arriving early in the evening.

PAPALLACTA HOTSPRINGS
Enjoy a relaxing day in the Andes. You will start the trip with a journey from Quito through beautiful mountains. After an hour, you will arrive to the town of Papallacta, where we will make a stop for hot chocolate and an aperitif. Afterwards, we will walk around the Papallacta river, where we will be able to observe the flora and fauna of the place. Next, you can relax in the hot volcanic pools of Papallacta. This outdoor thermal place has various benefits. Due to its minerals, these waters will help you gently exfoliate your skin and relax your body. You can enjoy additional services such as facials, massages and aromatherapy (for an additional cost). Then we will continue our journey to Cotopaxi to rest.

COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK
In the morning we will be ready to start our exploration of the Cotopaxi Volcano which is the highest and most active in the world. We will start our visit by heading to the Limpiopungo Lagoon for a hike around it. We will be able to observe the typical vegetation of the mountains and local birds such as the Andean hummingbird and the condor on some occasions, we continue with the ascent to the parking lot in the vehicle and then on foot to the Jose Rivas Refuge (optional) where we can enjoy a privileged view on a clear day and tasty chocolate. Then we will continue our journey to Quilotoa to rest.

QUILOTOA LAGOON
Early we will head to visit the Quilotoa Lagoon, first, we will enjoy the view of the Lagoon and the Crater from the view point, then we will continue with the descent to the base of the lagoon where we can enjoy the flora of the place, in addition, they will have the opportunity to enjoy activities such as kayaking (optional), after a relaxing time on site we will start the ascent again the same as you can do on foot with the guide or rent a mule with the community (optional). We'll have time for lunch and then continue to Baños de Agua Santa.

BAÑOS DE AGUA SANTA
Located in a valley of waterfalls and hot springs, the city of Baños has much to offer its visitors. After breakfast, Beautiful waterfalls and green areas surround the quiet village of Baños. We start our day with the tour of the Route of the Waterfalls until we reach the imposing fall of the Pailón del Diablo. Afterward, we will have time to enjoy the thermal baths to relax and swim (optional). The day would not be complete without looking at the active Tungurahua volcano. After a great day, you will have time to enjoy the nightlife of this beautiful city.

CHIMBORAZO WILDLIFE PRODUCTION
Start your day with a traditional breakfast, our tour will have as destination the first refuge of the Chimborazo Fauna Reserve, the Carrel refuge which is located at 4,800 meters above sea level, from this site we will hike 200 meters until we reach the second refuge, the Edward Whymper refuge, located at 5,000 meters above sea level. From here you will have impressive views and you will also be able to touch the snow that is found here throughout the year, take clothes for very low temperatures, on the way back we will have opportunities to see the local fauna.

INGAPIRCA COMPLEX
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel. We will visit the most important Cañari-Inca Archaeological Complex of Ecuador: Ingapirca, which means "Wall of the Inca". The complex has patios, terraces, temples and a "castle". We will be able to visit the Site Museum and admire the stone fortress that has several thresholds, as well as stone walls that fit perfectly together, without having any mortar in the middle.

CUENCA CITY TOUR
Cuenca is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Ecuador, for its colonial and republican architecture. Our guide will pick us up from the hotel and start with a visit to the Historic Center of the city where we will find Calderon Park, the Plaza de las Flores, and the Church of Carmen. We will visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, better known as the New Cathedral, considered one of the largest churches in Latin America.

CAJAS – GUAYAQUIL
In the morning we will visit the Cajas National Park with its numerous routes, we will choose one of the trails each with its own charm. Before noon we will be ready for a trip a little far from the city of Guayaquil, but with countless dazzling landscapes, you can observe the change of vegetation as we descend from the Andes Mountains to the Ecuadorian Coast.
