Full-Day Excursion Trek Laguna Esmeralda in shared service We leave the hotel at 11:00 am to take the road leading north to the Lasifashaj Valley. At this point, we start the trek to Esmeralda lagoon. The first part of the hike is through the woods and allows people to admire the incredible views of Tierra Mayor and Carbajal valleys. The rest of the path leads us through the lenga forest, mountains, hanging glaciers, and peat bogs. We will be able to take a close look at the local flora and wildlife, such as the great variety of birds that can be spotted around the place. We continue our trek until we finally reach the breathtaking Esmeralda lagoon, which takes its name from the intense greenish color of the water. Surrounded by the Ojo Del Albino Glacier, the Towers, and the mountainous chain Toribio, the lagoon becomes the chosen scenery to enjoy the long-awaited lunch. After the break, we start the trek back to the departure point, where we get on the vehicle that takes us to the hotel.

Full-Day Excursion Tierra del Fuego National Park with a trek in shared service It’s a low-difficulty excursion planned for everyone. It starts when we pick up our passengers at their hotels to take them to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, which is just 12 km away from the city. Before we get to the park, there is a previous stop: The Train of the End of the World. Those who wish to take this optional ride will be making the same way prisoners made many years ago, logging down trees and collecting firewood for the small old town of Ushuaia. The train goes through magnificent scenery: the woods, rivers, peat bogs, and the ruins of a native settlement. There is also a stop at Macarena cascade before going into the Tierra del Fuego National Park. It is important to bear in mind that The Train of the End of the World tour is optional from the excursion to the Park, and must be taken only one-way since when the ride finishes, at the National Park station, our guide will be waiting for you to continue the excursion in our vehicle. Once at Tierra del Fuego National Park we will visit Ensenada Zaratiegui, where you can observe the most typical species of this sub-antarctic wood, such as: Lengas, Ñires, Coihues, some bushes like Calafate and Michay, Canelos and the so-called “Old man’s beard”. There will be some stops during the trip to enjoy the panoramic views and take pictures. Then, we will continue towards Verde Lagoon and Lapataia Bay, where some peat bogs and beaver dams can be watched. There will be a final stop at Roca Lake (or Acigami Lake) and, from there, we will go back to the city.

What takes us to this zone is the visit to the fisher village where Sea Food is produced and processed: spider crab, trout, mussels, etc. We will enjoy the beauty with canoes and a bit of trekking and a lunch.

Full-Day Excursion Cabo San Pablo in shared service. This expedition will take us to know the deepest of Tierra del Fuego, all the beautiful and contrasting geography of the Island. We leave at 08:30 ready to enjoy this adventure. From the Beagle Channel, crossing the Andes mountain range, we will reach the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. This tour will reveal the diverse landscapes of the big Island of Tierra del Fuego. We will take National Route N ° 3, as we ascend towards the Garibaldi Pass, we will be able to observe large glacial valleys, surrounded by the Sub-Antarctic Forest. The descent begins to the area of the great lakes, towards the town of Tolhuin, located next to the shores of Lake Fagnano. Tolhuin is a small town dedicated to forestry, where we will make a stop and get to know its famous Bakery. After the visit, we access the Provincial Route A, where we will appreciate the ecotone, a transition landscape between the Andes area and the steppe. A journey through time from the original villages, going through the arrival of the rural establishments until the present. On the horizon, we begin to see shore and San Pablo cape. We will take a walk to ascend to the Cape, where an old lighthouse watches over the east end of the big island of Tierra del Fuego. From there you can see the old ship, Desdemona. Intentionally stranded on the beach to avoid shipwreck in 1985. Estancia Las Loicas is located very close to this Patagonian beach. There, we will be welcomed with a complete lunch, our main course: the catch of the day. (Option vegan and celiac) As an additional activity, there is a possibility of trekking to the Lunar Cape to appreciate the sunset. This can be coordinated on the day of the excursion with the passengers according to their physical condition and desire. After the activity, we will return to the city of Ushuaia.
