The migration is a dramatic cycle of life, where predators such as lions, cheetahs, and crocodiles add to the intensity of the journey. From river crossings to vast herds stretching across the plains, every moment is a testament to the resilience and instinct of these animals.

place Northern Sarengeti - Game drive - Central Serengeti Overnight

Game Drive by the Mara River Begin your day with an exciting game drive along the Mara River, keeping an eye out for the thrilling spectacle of a river crossing—a dramatic moment where wildebeest and zebras brave the crocodile-filled waters in their relentless pursuit of greener pastures. After enjoying your picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, you’ll leave for the Central Serengeti.

Central Serengeti and Seronera :The Central Serengeti, often referred to as the heart of Serengeti National Park, is renowned for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. This region is home to the famous Seronera Valley, which boasts one of the densest populations of big cats in Africa, earning it the title of "Big Cat Capital." Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently spotted here, along with elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and hippos.

The Seronera River, a lifeline for the region, ensures year-round water availability, making it a hotspot for wildlife viewing. The area’s diverse habitats—rivers, swamps, kopjes (rocky outcrops), and grasslands—support a wide variety of species, including herbivores like impalas and topis, as well as predators such as hyenas and jackals. The Central Serengeti is also a prime location to witness the Great Migration during certain months, as herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles pass through on their epic journey.

After an afternoon game drive in this wildlife-rich region, you’ll settle in for the night at Sametu Camp, enjoying the comfort of an all-inclusive stay surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 4

Full-Day Exploration of the Serengeti Plains Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti with a full day of adventure across its iconic plains. Begin your day with an early morning game drive, where the golden hues of sunrise cast a magical glow over the landscape. During this time, you may encounter grazing herbivores bathed in the serene morning light, while predators might still be actively hunting before retreating to rest for the day. Sunrise in the Serengeti is a sight to behold, offering extraordinary photographic opportunities that will forever capture the essence of this remarkable wilderness.

Midday presents two delightful options: return to your accommodation for a hot lunch, or opt for a packed lunch, savored at one of Serengeti's scenic picnic spots. After lunch, continue your exploration with another thrilling game drive. As dusk approaches, keep an eye out for lions prowling the plains, as well as cheetahs, which are often spotted in the cooler hours of early morning and late afternoon. Their reliance on daylight and speed for hunting creates fascinating moments for observation.

The waterways of the Serengeti also teem with life: hippos gather in larger pools and rivers, while crocodiles bask on the riverbanks, enjoying the warmth of the sun.

As the afternoon fades, make your way back to camp in time to relax with a sundowner drink, soaking in the serenity of the wilderness before indulging in a delicious evening meal

Day 5

place Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, check out from the lodge as your guide arrives to pick you up at 6:00 AM for the journey to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, stop by one of the many Maasai villages in the area for a cultural experience that offers a glimpse into the traditions and daily life of this iconic East African community.

Proceed to the crater, where you will descend 600 meters into this breathtaking natural wonder for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, sustained by a year-round water supply and lush vegetation, supports an incredible variety of wildlife. Be on the lookout for herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants.

The crater is also renowned for its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which often requires a trained eye to spot. As part of your adventure, you will visit Lake Magadi, a striking alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater. Here, you can often see vibrant flocks of flamingos, hippos wallowing in the water, and other fascinating bird species.

After a packed lunch amidst this stunning landscape, ascend from the crater and head to Lion’s Paw Ngorongoro, where you can unwind over dinner and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding wilderness. Overnight accommodations ensure a perfect end to an unforgettable day of exploration
