Our representative will greet your family upon arrival at Juan Santamaría Airport, handle your Travel kit, and take you to your hotel in San José for the first night. Early in the morning, you will get your car delivered, so you can continue your journey towards the next destination: La Fortuna de Arenal But first, you will stop in La Paz Waterfall Gardens, which is one of the most visited privately owned ecological attractions in Costa Rica featuring the best hiking near San José, the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica, an animal sanctuary with over 100 species of animals, and an environmental education program. Five waterfalls, cloud forest and rain forest, safe hiking trails, an aviary with numerous species of birds, toucan feeding demonstration time, insect exhibit, butterfly observatory, capuchin (white-faced) monkeys, black-handed spider monkeys, hummingbird garden with 26 documented species, hummingbird hand-feeding demonstration time in the mornings and afternoons, snake exhibit, jaguars, pumas, ocelots, margays, "tica" house with a petting zoo and ox cart, ranarium (frog exhibit), orchid exhibit, heliconia exhibit. All of these offered in one place makes it one of the best eco park in Costa Rica. After lunch continues your driving adventure, usually known simply as La Fortuna, the village of La Fortuna de San Carlos is the entrance to the magnificent Arenal Volcano. La Fortuna de San Carlos is located in the province of Alajuela and connects the Arenal Volcano area with the cloud forest of Monteverde and Santa Elena and the lowlands of the north of the country. La Fortuna, a charming and quiet village offers spectacular scenery of the Arenal, the most beautiful volcanoes in Costa Rica.

Local Farm Visit, time to harvest!
Today, you'll get to experience life as a local by spending the morning on a farm to learn about coffee and cacao! This fun and cultural visit is highly popular for families, allowing your children to harvest organic fruits like papaya, yucca, and avocado, as well as learning how a sugar cane press works. Also, you can participate in activities such as milking a cow, making tortillas, collecting vegetables from the garden, cultural activities such as milling sugar cane, dances typical, and collection of water from an artisanal well. You will have the opportunity to help the environment by sponsoring and planting an endangered tree and enjoying a typical and organic lunch made with products harvested from the property and cooked on a wood stove. This afternoon you can use it to relax in the hot springs of the hotel.

Arenal Volcano National Park by boat
The tour begins with a 20-minute drive from the hotel to the Peninsula section of the National Park near Lake Arenal. Once at the site, a walk on a simple 1.5 km path awaits us for approximately one hour; During the entire tour, you can enjoy excellent landscapes overlooking Lake Arenal and the Volcanic Mountain Range of Tilarán in the different observation bays that are found along the entire trail. At the end of it, we will have the opportunity to go up to the observation platform of approximately 12 meters high for a closer and amazing view of the volcano, receiving a complete explanation of its history, activity cycles, geological formation among other relevant data. Then boat trip continues bordering the wooded shores of Lake Arenal and islets to try to find some animals. This is the ideal place to take the best scenic photographs of the volcano if it is clear After about 45 minutes, the boat docked in the Arenal Dam sector. This afternoon is free, enjoy it!

Off to Monteverde and Nocturnal Experience
Good Morning! After enjoying your delicious breakfast, you will continue your journey to Monteverde. Monteverde is home to one of the rarest and most unique habitats on the planet, the cloud forest, and an amazing variety of flora and fauna. During the evening, you will be joining a nocturnal visit with some luck you can spot, insects, spiders, and reptiles coming out to seek food and socialize. Also, there is a chance to see rare mammals that are nocturnal like sloths, kinkajous, ocelots, porcupines, and olingos. Once finished, set off to your hotel for the night.

Monteverde Cloud Forest – Hanging Bridges and Sloths
Get ready for one of the highlights of your tour: walking over Monteverde's famous Hanging Bridges! Keep on the lookout for birds and animals hiding in the jungle canopy. A self-guided hike to appreciate the endemic biodiversity of the cloud forest canopy, through 3km in which you will find eight suspension bridges of various lengths. After this, you will continue to visit the sloths and their environment It consists of a natural exhibition of about 20 sloths that can move freely through specially created steps so they can move between the different trees and foliage. All at a safe distance that allows their easy observation, avoiding them as much stress as possible. These beautiful mammals have come to our sanctuary for reasons of force majeure such as hunting, habitat destruction, orphanage, disease, and accidents among others, which do not allow them to be reintroduced to their natural habitat.

From the cloud forest to Manuel Antonio
And now it's time for the marine-coastal ecosystems. After an energizing breakfast, you will head towards Manuel Antonio, the route will lead you to the southern coast, passing by the Tárcoles River, Herradura, Jacó, Parrita, Quepos, and finally Manuel Antonio. This corner of the country offers four pristine beaches next to the green rainforest, with natural seawater pools with crustaceans, up to species of monkeys, and breathtaking panoramic views. Manuel Antonio National Park is a spectacular vacation destination, in addition, you will be able to enjoy a number of outdoor activities.

Whale and Dolphin Watching
ood Morning After enjoying a delicious breakfast you will be picked up at the front desk of the hotel to get started with your adventure. Today you will be able to explore one of the most beautiful National Parks in Costa Rica, Marino Ballena National Park, located near the village of Uvita on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Here you will have the opportunity to spot pilot whales and humpback whales, when these are migrating from North to during their mating season, following the warm waters of the Central Pacific Ocean. Once in the boat and starting the tour you will sail along the coast of the Pacific Ocean for three hours in search of whales and dolphins, going by the beautiful Roca Ballena, las Cavernas in front of Playa Ventanas y Roca Viuda y Tres Hermanas, a natural outstanding rock system.
