Early in the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and the journey will take you to Guapiles, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, you will continue to the river port of Pavona, where you will be transferred to a motorboat. During the one-hour trip, you will have the opportunity to see herons, sea birds, howler monkeys, iguanas, and turtles, among others. Once at the lodge, you will enjoy a buffet lunch and then explore the canals of the national park.

The day starts very early in the Tropical Rainforest with the howling of monkeys and other residents of the rainforest looking for water, food, and the first rays of sunshine. Yesterday you witnessed the incredible biological variety that inhabits the rainforest, swamps, beaches, and lagoons. Today will be a day of contact with the locals and the lifestyle of the people who for decades have lived off sea turtles. You will take a short walk along the trails of the lodge, so you can continue admiring the nature, that sprouts everywhere. And in the afternoon you will visit the town of Tortuguero: you will walk through its small streets, craft stores, and the Turtle Museum, where you can learn about all aspects related to the different species of turtles that come to Costa Rica, their marine life in the Caribbean and the efforts to conserve these giant reptiles of the sea.

It is a good time to observe aquatic birds (aningas, herons, kingfishers) during the tour and enjoy the scenery. The shuttle service of the Lodge will drop you off at the Lodge Restaurant, where you can have lunch or a snack before continuing; at this same point, the Rent a Car agent will deliver the car to you. Route 32 will guide you to the Río Frío crossing and then you will take the Noratlántico corridor to Muelle de San Carlos and from there to La Fortuna. The landscapes will be painted by agricultural production, mainly pineapple. Generally known simply as La Fortuna, the town of La Fortuna de San Carlos is the gateway to the magnificent Arenal Volcano. La Fortuna de San Carlos is located in the province of Alajuela and connects the Arenal Volcano area with the cloud forest of Monteverde and Santa Elena and the northern lowlands of the country, a charming and quiet town offers spectacular scenery of the Arenal, one of the most beautiful volcanoes in Costa Rica. Start the day with breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, you will be picked up to enjoy a unique river rafting adventure through the crystal-clear waters of the Balsa River! Good Morning! After enjoying your delicious breakfast, you will continue your journey to Monteverde. Monteverde is home to one of the rarest and most unique habitats on the planet, the cloud forest, and an amazing variety of flora and fauna. Monteverde is different from other forests in Costa Rica, with a constant fog that looks like clouds and gives the name to this area. The high humidity in this place, at 1,600 meters above sea level, creates fog and provides a cloud cover. Upon arrival, you can freshen up at the hotel and get ready for the next adventure.  Horseback riding in the forest Live the experience of riding through the forest and wonderful views, the tour is done through a private farm, 60% of the activity is through trails in the forest and 40% in an open area, paddock surrounded by forest, a beautiful place where you can see the Gulf of Nicoya in all its splendor and in summer wonderful sunsets.

A scenic hike through trails above and between the forest canopy, getting to see a variety of wildlife, as well as some scenes worth admiring and immortalizing behind the camera lens. Then the adrenaline kicks in, flying from canopy to canopy on a zipline, starting with relatively short and not so high platforms, to get used to this incredible sensation. In total there are 12 cables and 16 platforms where you can swing back and forth. In addition, you have the opportunity to do the "Tarzan-Swing", where you can experience a free fall of 45 meters. And now it's time for the marine-coastal ecosystems. After an energizing breakfast, you will head towards Uvita. The route will lead you to the southern coast, passing by the Tarcoles River,  Herradura, Jacó, Parrita, Quepos and finally Uvita This corner of the country offers four pristine beaches next to the green rainforest, with natural seawater pools with crustaceans, up to species of monkeys, and breathtaking panoramic views.

Today you will be picked up at your hotel and the journey goes to a beach spot near Marino Ballena National Park where you will board a boat for the experience that awaits you. From Punta Uvita Beach, the boat visits the famous Punta Uvita Whale’s Tail, Ballena Island, Tres Hermanas Islets, and Ventana Sea Caves. During the tour, you will search along with the captain and guide for Humpback Whales and two different species of resident Dolphins. When granted the opportunity you might see and hear the song of the Humpback Whales and or observe the acrobatic displays of the dolphins. Other species that are seen occasionally during this are Bride’s Whales, Pilot whales, False Killer whales, and other marine life. You will also visit the coral and rock reefs to snorkel and observe the wonderful marine wildlife of the Ballena Marine Park. During the trip, your captain will take you and venture near Ventanas' Beach caverns, where you can observe wonderful rocky formations and an amazing cavern that was carved by the ocean and tectonic movements for thousands of years. After this experience, you will be taken back to the beach and board your transportation back to the hotel for the day.
