Day 1

place Bienvenido/Welcome to Argentina! Tucuman - Panoramic city tour PM (Half day)

Arrival to Tucuman. Transfer from the airport (TUC) - hotel. *Excursion: Panoramic city tour PM (Half a day).* The trip takes you back to our past so as to understand the roots of our modern history. We walk around Independence Square and its nearby sites: Government Palace, San Francisco Chapel, the Cathedral, San Martin Street “al 400”, La Merced church and the Historic House Museum of Tucuman. There is also a visit to 9 de Julio Square and the Sugar Industry Museum, Obispo Colombres House, Urquiza Square where you can admire the Legislature building, The Casino, San Martin Theatre and the National School. The tour ends up at Belgraniana’s House. *(On Mondays, the archeological site the Menhires is closed.) Accommodation.

Day 2

place Tucuman -> Tafí del Valle -> Cafayate

*Trip to Cafayate by Tafi Del Valle, Amaicha and Quilmes Lodging in Cafayate.* We leave Tucuman behind and start ascending the valley through the Route 307. The road goes into the Los Sosa River Gorge, part of the Natural Reserve with the same name. Continuing, we will sight the monument "El Indio”. The entrance to the Valley of Tafi is simply shocking. We will arrive at The Mollar to visit The Menhires. Then we continue through the Route 307 up to the viewpoint from which the best views of the valley are obtained, in a pronounced zigzag until Abra Del Infiernillo, at Quilmes Ruins (Ruinas de Quilmes) at 3042 masl. In Amaicha Del Valle we will visit the square and its surroundings. After connecting with the 40 National Route, the Sacred City of Quilmes breaks left. The visitor will be able to tour the complex with the company of a guide and will be amazed to know every detail of the last bastion on aboriginal resistance against the Spanish advance. The legendary road 40 fades away while we are immerse in a land of beauty that welcomes us with warm sun, grapes in vineyards and trellises, providing excellent wines. *(On Mondays, the archeological site the Menhires is closed.) Day 3

place Cafayate -> Cachi –> Salta

Early in the morning we leave to Cachi by road 40. We cross through little towns like Animana and San Carlos and then we get into Arrows’ ravine to admire unique views. The travel continues its winding path along the road where the mountainous landscape mixes with enchanted towns such as Angastaco, Molinos and Seclantás by which the Calchaquí River twists all its way. After noon we arrive to Cachi where we visit Cardones National Park by the “Tin Tin Straight” and old Inca pathway where we find the winding "Cuesta del Obispo" (Bishop's Slope) at the top of the slope, known as "Piedra Del Molino" (Millstone) (3384 masl). The Enchanted Valley is scattered with fruit trees, vineyards and maize crops. Accommodation.

Day 4

place Excursion: Salta Panoramic City Tour PM (Half Day)

Tour around the most attractive places of the city: The Cathedral, Americas Cultural Center, Historic Museum of the North (Cabildo) with sacred art exhibitions, Minor Basilica of San Francisco, San Bernardo Convent, Güemes Monument and Ascent to San Bernardo Mount with its panoramic view of the outskirts of the city with the beautiful summer villa San Lorenzo and its subtropical micro climate. The time left is to tour around the craftsmen fair with certification of origin in the entire province. Accommodation.

Day 5

place Excursion: Humahuaca Gorge. (Full day)

On this full-day tour you will get to see Purmamarca Village where you will walk along its narrow streets and observe the Seven Colors Hill, the Church and the Craft Market in the square. After that, you will continue by Posta de los Hornillos towards the town of Tilcara, to visit the Pucará (ancient ruins) and the Archeological Museum. We go on to Huacalera and cross the Tropic of Capricorn, from where the colors of La Pollera del Coya Hill can be seen. Next, travel to Uquía to see its church, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels are kept. Arrival to Humahuaca will be at noon; this town has an important church and the Independence Monument (the Indian) of the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch you will observe La Paleta Del Pintor (The Painter’s Palette) route which frames the town of Maimara. This concludes the tour, where you will then return to Salta by a cornice path surrounded by abundant subtropical vegetation. Accommodation.
