Let’s begin our trip from Tbilisi Sightseeing Tour. The historic part of Georgia’s capital is located at the foot of Narikala Fortress. It charms visitors with its romantic, narrow streets, beautiful facades and picturesque sites next to each other, including Metekhi Church, Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral, Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Church and famous sulphur bathhouses. Visit Gremi, a 16th-century architectural monument - the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels. The complex is what has survived from the once flourishing town of Gremi and is located southwest of the present-day village of the same name in the Kvareli district. Continue to Signagi, a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality. Although it is one of Georgia's smallest towns, Signagi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Visit the old capital of Georgia - Mtskheta (UNESCO Word Heritage). Mtskheta was founded in the 5th century BC. It was capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia (Kartli) from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. It was a site of early Christian activity, and the location where Christianity was proclaimed the state religion of Kartli in 337. Mtskheta remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), the spiritual center of the country. Continue to Jvari Monastery at the top of a high cliff and have a splendid panoramic view of how two rivers, Aragvi and Mtkvari join each other. The next stop is the cave town Uplistsikhe, built on a high rocky left bank of the Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran, as well as the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. Continue to Gori, a city in eastern Georgia, which serves as the regional capital of Shida Kartli and the centre of the homonymous administrative district. City tour. Return to Tbilisi. Drive to the Armenian border Sadakho (Bagratashen). The first visit in Armenia is the precious monastic complex Haghpat (10th century). The location of Haghpat Monastery was chosen so that it overlooks the Debed River. The largest church in the complex, the Cathedral of Surb Nishan, probably begun in 976, was completed in 991 by king Smbat. Described as a "masterpiece of religious architecture and a major center of learning in the Middle Ages", Haghpat monastery was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1996. Continue to another famous complex in the same region, Akhtala (10th century). The main church of the complex is famous for its highly artistic frescoes, which cover the inside walls, the partitions, and the bearings of the building. The murals were painted under the patronage of atabek Ivane Zakarian between 1205 and 1216. Drive to the town Dilijan, the “Little Switzerland of Armenia”. Overnight at the B&B in Dilijan.

Drive to the Sevan lake, the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region. The lake is situated in the central part of Armenia, in the Gegharkunik Province, at the altitude of 1,900 m (6,200 ft) above sea level. Visit the monastery Sevanavank. Then we’ll continue to the village Noratus, visiting the medieval cemetery with a large number of early khachkars (cross-stones). The oldest khachkars in the cemetery date back to the late 10th century. The cemetery is spread over a seven hectare field containing almost a thousand khachkars each of them depicting unique ornamentation. Drive to the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. Begin to discover the capital of the Republic of Armenia. Yerevan was born in 782 BC, that's why it's one of the oldest cities in the world. Yerevan is famous as a pink city and calls visitors with its humble and at the same time splendid landscapes. Cascade Monument was the main symbol of the cities 2780th anniversary with the equivalent number of stairs. A panoramic view from the monument opens up breathtaking city view with Opera House, Mount Ararat, Swan Lake, Republic Square, and posh Northern Avenue around. Visit the History Museum of Armenia. It has a national collection of 400,000 objects and was founded in 1920. The museum carries out conservation and restoration work and publishes works on Armenian architecture, archaeology, ethnography, and history. Visit the Tsitsernakaberd memorial park and the museum of victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Overnight at the selected hotel in Yerevan.

Drive to the town Vagharshapat (Etchmiatsin). Visit Saint Hripsime church, one of the oldest surviving churches in the country. The current structure was completed in 618 AD. It is known for its fine Armenian-style architecture of the classical period, which has influenced many other Armenian churches since. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other nearby churches, including Etchmiadzin Cathedra. Visit Etchmiatsin Cathedral, the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The original church was built in the early fourth century by Armenia's patron saint Gregory the Illuminator, following the adoption of Christianity as a state religion by King Tiridates III. It replaced a preexisting temple, symbolizing the conversion from paganism to Christianity. Return to Yerevan with stop along the ruins of Zvartnots temple, the pearl of the architecture of the seventh century that appears in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. Zvartnots was built at a time when much of Armenia was under Byzantine control or influence and during the early invasions of Armenia by the Muslim Arabs. Construction of the cathedral began in 643 under the guidance of Catholicos Nerses III. Dedicated to St. Gregory, it was located the place, where a meeting between King Trdat III and Gregory the Illuminator was supposed to have taken place. Overnight at the selected hotel in Yerevan.

Drive to the temple of Garni, monument of the Hellenistic period and an impressive piece of ancient Armenian architecture. It was built in the first century AD by the Armenian King Tiridates and is dedicated to a heathen god, probably to Mithra, the god of the sun whose figure was at the back of the sanctuary. Visit Geghard monastery, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The name Geghard, meaning "the Monastery of the Spear", originates from the spear which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion, allegedly brought to Armenia by Apostle Thaddeus. Return to Yerevan. Visit the open-air market Vernissage or the Fruit market of Yerevan. Overnight at the selected hotel in Yerevan.
