Day 1
Hike To The Continental Mangrove
Make your own way to meeting point. From the Gamboa church where we will meet, we will walk along the main street that stands out for its beautiful and well-kept gardens. We will pass the last houses until we find an old piassava factory. Here we will take a small path full of various shades of green due to bromeliads, ferns, palm trees, fruit trees and entrances to the mangrove swamp. We will get to Cardoso beach, which is where the entire continental mangrove begins that reaches Galeao and continues to Boipeba. Here we will take a circuit that enters the Atlantic forest and crosses the mangrove along a path where the water reaches almost our waist. We will cross other small estuaries and observe large trees. It is possible to hear many birds and even the beat of the woodpecker. After this nature bath we will return to the meeting point.
