Proceeding towards Chand Baori (Stepwell), located in Abhaneri. Chand Baori is known as one of India's oldest, deepest & largest step wells. En route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, (UNESCO World Heritage site) - the deserted, but perfectly preserved sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar but abandoned after only 15 years. After lunch visit Agra Fort (a World Heritage site) with an English-speaking guide - a magnificent citadel with marble palaces, ornate alcoves & terrace pavilions. Ram Bagh was the first garden to be constructed. It is reported that Emperor Mughal, Shah Jahan, had seen this spot and opted to see the Taj Mahal from some distance.
