Day 1

place ARRIVAL - TRANSFER TO KALPITIYA

On arrival at the Bandaranayke International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; a Representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to Kalpitiya, which is a calm & quiet beach destination in Sri Lanka suits for honeymooners. Kalpitiya Kalpitiya is a popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka, which consists of 14 islands. Kalpitiya is a peninsula beautifully located between the deep lagoon of Puttalam and the Indian Ocean is a marine sanctuary with a diversity of habitats. A boat trip from the Alankudah beach can offer you a chance to visit the, famous spot for dolphin watching where you can see about a hundred at once and it even offers a chance to glimpse an occasional blue whale and the largest toothed whale in the world, the sperm whale. The largest coral reef in Sri Lanka is also in Kalpitiya, the best place for scuba divers and snorkelers to explore. Check in to the hotel and enjoy the 1st day in Sri Lanka. Day 3

place Visit the ancient city Dambulla

Breakfast at hotel and today you will be traveling to Dambulla the Cultural Triangle. During the journey to Dambulla you will pass scenic locations of rural Sri Lanka such as Lakes, paddy fields, jungles & rural villages make a stops if you like to take some pictures. On the way you will stop by Koskele Forest reserve where you will enjoy a Hot cup of Tea with a small snack called “ROTI” or freshly made Corn by the roadside experiencing the local way of Sri Lanka. This place is famous for travellers to refresh and enjoy a small snack on your way towards the Cultural triangle and to experience the local way of life. Golden Temple & Rock caves in Dambulla Dambulla is an exciting tourist destination situated in the central province of Sri Lanka. Approximately 150 Km away from Colombo. The world-renowned rock cave temple complex in Dambulla golden temple dated to the 2nd century BC is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site due to the historical, religious & unbelievable architectural value. This site has over 80 caves, some of which are used to practice deep meditation by Buddhist monks. This Rock temple has five different caves with 153 magnificent Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan monarchs, and 4 Hindu gods. Arrive in Dambulla and check-in to the hotel. In the evening you will enjoy a calm boat ride in a catamaran witnessing the sunset over the lake. place Explore The Sigiriya

Breakfast at hotel and in the morning climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is a fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. Undoubtedly the most treasured historical monument in Sri Lanka and probably the most visited tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, The most looked forward feature of the fortress is the frescoes. Another fascinating detail is its mirror wall. Every step from the entrance to the top is a marvel on its own, and the interesting surroundings make the tedious climb to the top easy. Among locals this is called as the “8th wonder of the world” absolutely marvelous fortress complex which dates back to 477 CE situated 200 meters high from the ground. This giant rock fortress has water fountains, boulder gardens, frescos, mirror wall, relics of the castle and many more exciting monuments from the bottom to the top of the complex. This is definitely the most visited tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. UNESCO has declared this ancient city as one of the World Heritage sites in Sri Lanka. Some people believe that Sigiriya is a post historical archeology turning point of Ravana. According to them, Sigiriya may be the Alakamandava (the City of the Gods) that was built up before 50 centuries ago by King Kubera who was the half-brother of Great king Ravana. After the visits you will be taken to a local village to experience and learn about the local village lifestyle. Take a village Lunch with trekking at Hiriwadunna. Enjoy a nature walk through the jungle, cross a lake in a catamaran, the traditional mode of over water transport; spend time with a farmer harvesting crops under his guidance and taste an authentic village cuisine prepared freshly by the farmer's family with freshly picked produce and local herbs cooked in clay pots over an open heart fueled by firewood. place Visit to the Kandy city

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Kandy the hill capital. Kandy the popular charming hill capital of Sri Lanka is surrounded by hills, valleys, rivers, lakes and waterfalls. It is the cultural center of the island and a UNESCO heritage city. The sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined at the Dalada Maligawa, the temple of the tooth. The arts and crafts center in Kandy, the main Buddhist monasteries Malwatta and Asgiriya Monasteries are places that must be visited. Kandy is a great place for souvenir shopping and to learn about its rich culture and history. In the evening visit Kandy Temple of the Tooth relic and witness a cultural show. You can enjoy trekking across the Horton Plains mountain range and canoeing in the Samanalawewa reservoir. Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Galle. On the way visit the famous Galle Dutch Fort and the ancient city. Galle was once the chief port of Sri Lanka. The Galle Fort (spanning 90acres) was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. This is also a World Heritage Site. As a result, Asia's largest colonial-built fort has protected a wealth of interesting architecture, now housing galleries, cafes, and shops, or fulfilling their initial intended purpose as law courts and administrative buildings.
