In the morning we will pick you up from the hotel to being with our culinary adventure in a traditional Peruvian market, where our guide will show you the natural ingredients and products such as fruits, spices and seasoning used as a base in our world-famous national gastronomy. Next, we will transfer you to a renowned restaurant, privileged for being right next to the seashore, and where we will delight ourselves with some of the culinary pleasures that Peru has to offer. You will learn how to prepare the famous Pisco Sour and the classic “ceviche limeño”. After that, you will also be able to enjoy an exquisite lunch while contemplating a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Later on we will continue with a guided city tour, where we can observe the Colonial Centre, the Main Square, the Government's Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the Lima Town Hall. Likewise, we will visit the Santo Francisco convent, a convent with cloisters and catacombs of the Colonial era. The tour will begin with a panoramic view of the Huaca Puccllana and traditional, residential and commercial zones to continue with the historic centre of Lima and to finish off with and spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, the beaches of the district of Miraflores from the Park of Love.

At the coordinated time, we will pick you up from the hotel to transfer you to the restaurant of Huaca Pucllana, where we will be able to enjoy a spectacular dinner as a farewell to the gastronomic capital of South America.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Cusco (not included). Upon arrival to Cusco, our personnel will be waiting, ready to transfer you to the hotel. Between 13:00 and 13:30 hours, hotel pick up to begin with our city tour around the colonial city, build over the base of Inca palaces. During the tour we will visit the Plaza de Armas, the Temple of the Sun, also known as Qoricancha, and the Cusco Cathedral, where we can observe beautiful paintings and masonry. Afterwards, we will continue with Sacsayhuaman, a multi-purpose place where people performed rites to the Sun, Moon and Earth. This place was also used as a military fortress and an astrological centre. Next we will arrive to Q'enco, a cult centre related to the element of fire. Following next is Puca Pucara, a place used as a centre of storage and an Inca control post, in which there also were realized ceremonies to the wind. Finally, the tour ends with Tambomachay, a cult centre dedicated to the water and fertility. Return to the city of Cusco.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Today in the morning we will start our excursion to Chincheros. The Incas believed that the rainbow was born in Chincheros and only that is enough reason to visit this picturesque town. However, there are several reasons for this excursion. In our first stop we will have a meeting with textile artisans who will offer us a demonstration of the beautiful fabrics they make, as well as the ancient dyeing techniques with which they work until today. Then we will visit the archaeological complex, then visit the Colonial Church of the town, from which you have incredible mountain views. To end the visit, we will tour the craft market, located in the middle of the narrow streets of the town, being able to find handicraft pieces that are a true wonder. Next, we will go to the town of Maras, reaching the Salt Mines that capture the underground water of the mountain and condense it in more than 4,000 artisanal wells, which since ancient times served as a salt supply centre for the Inca Empire. We will continue our tour visiting the archaeological centre of Moray, characterized by its circular platform, more than 30 meters deep, with several rings of concentric terraces, of which each houses a different microclimate, a living signal of having been a great Centre for experimentation and scientific research for agricultural purposes. Throughout the tour we can enjoy the beautiful landscapes that the Sacred Valley of the Incas has to offer. From here we will go to the restaurant where a delicious buffet lunch will be waiting for us. In the afternoon you will check in at the Sacred Valley Hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities.

At the indicated time transfer to the train station to start the excursion to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu, recognized as one of the wonders of the world and declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The train takes us to the town of Aguas Calientes, from where we will ascend by bus to the Archaeological Centre and start the guided tour that lasts approximately 2 hours. During the visit you can see temples, squares, terraces, houses, barns, as well as the great biodiversity that exists in the surroundings. It is worth noting that the beauty of Machu Picchu is exalted by the extraordinary setting where it is located. Around the citadel a National Reserve has been formed that has an area of 32,500 hectares, and that includes a constellation of archaeological monuments, which, in our opinion, were built as part of the Machu Picchu complex and not in isolation. After the excursion, we will go to the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge hotel restaurant, where we will have a buffet lunch included. Return by train to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
