Day 1: Cuzco - Wayllabamba Camp, Peru
Early Morning Departure
We greet you bright and early at your meeting point, ready to set off on the classic Inca Trail journey. Climb aboard the comfortable bus and begin your adventure through the Sacred Valley landscapes.
Starting the Trek
Arrive at KM 82, pass the trail control point, and lace up for your first hike along the scenic Urubamba River. Let the fresh mountain air and river’s melody energize your steps as you make your way to historic Incan lands.
Highlight: Llactapata Exploration & Lunch
Your trek pauses at the fascinating archaeological site of Llactapata. Take in the ancient terraces and stonework as your appetite is sated with a hearty trail lunch right amid history.
Final Stretch & Camp at Wayllabamba
Continue trekking through beautiful Andean scenery—lush valleys and mountain vistas—for about 13 kilometers, before reaching your first camp in Wayllabamba. Rest and recharge beneath the dazzling highland sky.

Day 2: Trek to Pacaymayo Camp via Dead Woman's Pass
A Challenging Climb Begins
Fuel up with a hearty breakfast—the toughest day awaits! Set off from Wayllabamba as you tackle a relentless ascent into the clouds, covering 11 exhilarating kilometers.
The Ultimate Test: Warmi Wañusca Pass
Push forward as you climb to the formidable ‘Dead Woman’s Pass’ at 4,200 meters—the highest point of the Inca Trail. Feel the triumph as you gaze out at surrounding snowcapped mountains and patchwork valleys.
Descending to Pacaymayu
Breathless but exhilarated, descend into the tranquil Pacaymayu valley surrounded by untouched nature. Set up camp at 3,600 meters and reward yourself with spectacular sunset views and well-earned rest.

Day 3: Trek to Wiñayhuayna Camp via Runquracay Pass
Trail Through Changing Landscapes
After breakfast, lace up for a mesmerizing trek covering 16 kilometers. Today’s trail gently undulates with plenty of downhill, taking you through shifting ecosystems as you enter the ‘ceja de selva’—the jungle’s eyebrow.
Ruins and Revelation
Pause to explore Runkurakay’s mysterious circular ruins and the dramatic stone constructions of Sayacmarca, perched on an impressive ridge. Witness how the landscape turns from arid to verdant, with the air freshening as you descend.
Phuyupatamarca: Among the Clouds
Marvel at the aptly named “Town above the clouds,” Phuyupatamarca, whose Incan terraces are often shrouded in mist. Snap unforgettable photos before heading further down to your final campsite.
Final Stop: Wiñay Wayna
Arrive at Wiñay Wayna (“Forever Young”), an awe-inspiring set of Inca terraces and ruins. Camp here, surrounded by lush vegetation and vibrant orchids—your last night on the trail.

Day 4: Trek to Sun Gate, Explore Machu Picchu, Return to Cuzco
Dawn Trek to the Sun Gate
Rise before dawn, energized by excitement, and set off for your final push. Trek through the hush of early morning mist to reach Inti Punku—the iconic Sun Gate.
First Glimpse of Machu Picchu
As the first golden rays break through the clouds, behold Machu Picchu in its full splendor—a breathtaking, heart-stopping moment at the edge of the ancient world.
Guided Exploration
Descend into the sacred citadel for a 2-hour guided tour, uncovering secrets of its construction, purpose, and enduring mystery amid the jungle-shrouded peaks.
Return to Civilization
Take the bus to Aguas Calientes for a satisfying meal, then journey by train and vehicle back through the Sacred Valley, arriving triumphantly in Cusco after days of adventure.
