Arrival and Tel Aviv Airport pick-up


Upon arrival at the Ben Gurion airport you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Tel Aviv for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own while exploring this wonderful city. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 2

place Day 2: Tel Aviv - Caesarea - Haifa, Israel

Caesarea, Megiddo, Druze Village & Haifa (B/L/D)


Drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, which was the capital of Judea under the Romans. See the excavations of the Crusader city and the Roman port, the aqueduct and the amphitheater that has been restored to its former glory as a concert venue. Proceed to Megiddo to visit the archaeological excavations that include the well-preserved water supply system. Continue to Daliat El Carmel, a Druze village to enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa Bay and the Golden domed Bahai Shrine and gardens. Overnight at a Galilee Kibbutz, a traditional Israeli form of communal living.

Day 3

Safed & Golan Heights Winery Tour (B/D)


Travel to Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism. Visit the ancient synagogues and the artists' colony. Continue to Golan Heights to see the former Syrian bunkers, Quneitra and the new Israeli town of Katzrin. Stop at the Golan winery for a tour and wine tasting. Proceed to "Kessem Hagolan", a multimedia presentation of the area and its history. Overnight at a Galilee Kibbutz.

Day 4

Sea of Galilee & Nazareth (B)


Start your day visiting Nazareth and the church of Annunciation, continue to Tiberias, visit Capernaum and see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal church of St. Peter. Go to the Mount of Beatitudes, famous for being the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive via Beit Shean to Beit Alpha and see the remains of the mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue that depict the zodiac. You will overnight at a Galilee Kibbutz.

Day 5

Jerusalem, The Old City (B)


Start your day enjoying a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives and proceed to the Old City. Visit the Tomb of King David and the room of The Last Supper on Mount Zion. Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter. Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter towards the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre. If time and border restrictions permit, you will enter Palestine to visit Bethlehem to view Rachel's tomb, visit the Church of Nativity and Manger's Square. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6

Jerusalem, The New City (B/D)


Go to the Israel museum. Visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. Proceed for a tour at the Knesset, Israel's parliament. Go to Mount Herzl cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Visit Mea Shearim, the ultra-orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem to learn about their unique lifestyle. In the evening enjoy a Middle Eastern dinner and if weather conditions are ideal, enjoy the spectacular "sound & light" show at the Tower of David museum. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7

place Day 7: Jerusalem - Qumram – Masada – Dead Sea, Israel

Qumran, Masada & Dead Sea (B)


Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at almost 400 meters (1300 feet) below sea level. Stop at Qumran and visit the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 AD. Subject to the weather, continue to the Dead Sea to cover yourself with the mineral-rich mud that many believe has therapeutic effects. Go for a swim to experience the unique sensation of the ultra-buoyant waters. Overnight in Jerusalem.
