Day 2: Hiking in the Apuan Alps
Drive yourself from your hotel to the hiking starting point and begin and discover the hidden side of Tuscany with a unique hiking adventure through the Versilia mountains, guided by a certified local expert.
This immersive experience takes you into the Apuan Alps, where shaded chestnut forests, ancient olive groves, and sweeping sea views create a truly unforgettable setting.

In Carrara, where a rugged 4x4 Land Rover Defender will whisk you away to the awe-inspiring marble quarries nestled high in the mountains.
This thrilling drive takes you along winding paths to reach quarries as high as 1,000 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
Once there, your expert guide will unveil the fascinating history of marble extraction, tracing its evolution from ancient Roman techniques to modern methods. For an extra touch of wonder, you may even visit the very quarry where Michelangelo personally selected the marble for his masterpieces.
To round off this unique experience, you’ll delve into the culinary traditions of the region with a visit to a local lard factory. Day 5 | E-bike Tour from Levanto to Framura
Step off the beaten path and explore the lesser-known side of the Cinque Terre coastline on this peaceful and panoramic ebike tour.
Starting from Levanto, this guided ride takes you through scenic backroads and forest trails that few visitors ever get to see—blending nature, history, and unforgettable views, far from the tourist crowds.
Accompanied by a local expert, you'll pedal effortlessly thanks to your e-bike, heading uphill through shady woods and olive groves with spectacular sea views. Your route follows the ancient Roman road Via dei Monti, leading you to tiny hamlets like Costa and Casella, where time seems to stand still.
As you descend towards Framura—one of the most charming and least crowded coastal villages—you’ll pass through terraced vineyards and forested hills with panoramic stops overlooking the turquoise Ligurian Sea. After a relaxing break in Framura, you’ll return to Levanto via a scenic and enjoyable ride along the old railway path turned cycle route.

Day 6 | Hiking from Levanto to Monterosso
Start your day in Levanto, where you’ll meet your local hiking guide for a journey that blends nature, history, and
breathtaking sea views.
From there, begin your hike along one of the most scenic trails in the area, following a panoramic path that gently climbs
toward the Punta Mesco promontory. As you ascend, the view opens onto dramatic coastal cliffs, pine forests, and the
shimmering blue of the Ligurian Sea. This route, part of the Cinque Terre National Park, is a perfect balance of effort and
reward—ideal for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike.
At the top of Punta Mesco (321 meters above sea level), you’ll find the ruins of the 13th-century Hermitage of Saint
Anthony, a peaceful spot that offers one of the most iconic views of the Cinque Terre coastline. After a break to soak in the
panorama, begin the descent toward Monterosso, walking through terraced landscapes dotted with Mediterranean scrub
and stone walls.
As the sea draws nearer, the colorful village of Monterosso al Mare appears below—its beaches, vineyards, and ochrehued
houses welcoming you at the end of your walk. Once in Monterosso, enjoy some free time to explore the village and
relax by the sea.

After gathering seasonal ingredients, you’ll move to a cozy kitchen or private home setting for a hands-on cooking class.

pure relaxation under the sun. There will be time to dive into the clear waters for a swim or some light snorkeling, surrounded by a backdrop of dramatic cliffs and lush Mediterranean vegetation.

Led by a certified local guide, you’ll hike through scenic trails that wind across wild plateaus, through Mediterranean maquis and shaded woodland. Along the way, discover archaeological remains, panoramic ridgelines, and prehistoric grottos carved into limestone—silent witnesses of the region’s ancient past.
Midway through the day, you’ll stop at a local farm or agriturismo for a well-earned break and a light lunch featuring typical Ligurian flavors.
