Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu | Patan Cultural Sightseeing
Arrive at Kathmandu airport and meet the airport officer outside the Arrival Hall at the international airport. The officer will be holding a placard, or sign board, with your name. From there, transfer into the city center before continuing with the day’s planned sightseeing.
Later, join a guided sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO site in Kathmandu. Known as the “City of Beauty,” Patan gives you time to see local Newari people, ancient royal complexes, and medieval-era architecture. Stroll through narrow lanes while visiting Patan Durbar Square, Krishna Temple, Mahaboudhi Stupa, and Golden Temple. Patan is also known for metal works and wood carvings.
Patan is one of the historic royal cities of the Kathmandu Valley, with a long artistic tradition connected to Newar craftsmanship.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara | Himalayan Views and Lakeside Time
In the morning, depart Kathmandu for Pokhara on a 200-kilometer drive that takes about 6 hours. Travel by private surface transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle as you make the overland journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, keeping the day focused on the main transfer between Nepal’s two major travel centers.
Pokhara is known for wonderful views of the Himalayas and its snow-fed lakes. The reflection of Mount Fishtail and the Annapurna range on Lake Phewa is a key scenic feature. Pokhara also serves as a base camp for trekking in the Annapurna region and for day hikes around the valley rim. The rest of the day is free for you to stroll around the Phewa Lakeside area.
Machhapuchhre is commonly known as Mount Fishtail because of the distinctive shape that gives the peak its English name.

Day 5: Kathmandu Sacred Sites | Sightseeing and Departure Transfer
Your sightseeing begins after breakfast, with your guide meeting you at 0930 am. Start at Pashupatinath Temple, located on the bank of the Bagmati River. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and often known as the “abode of Shiva,” the temple allows only Hindus to enter the inner complex for worship. Others may go to the opposite side to observe Hindu rituals and morning activities.
After Pashupatinath, continue to Boudhnath Stupa, located 3 kilometers away. Known as “Mini Tibet,” it is one of Nepal’s largest Buddhist stupas and is surrounded by Tibetan settlements and monasteries. You will see Buddhist rituals and traditions in an area encircled by prayer flags and mane. Plan around the normal 1200 Hrs check-out time, then transfer to Kathmandu airport in time to board your flight back home.
Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhnath Stupa are both included in the Kathmandu Valley UNESCO World Heritage property.
